Adriana Muñoz (athlete)
Adriana Muñoz Premier (born 16 March 1982) is a Cuban middle-distance runner who specialized in the 800 and 1500 metres. At the Pan American Games she won gold medals in both events, the latter in a career best time of 4:09.57 minutes. She also competed in 800 metres at the 2003 World Championships, but without reaching the final. The 2012 Ibero-American Championships in Athletics (''Spanish: XV Campeonato Iberoamericano de Atletismo'') was the fifteenth edition of the international athletics competition between Ibero-American nations. It was held at the Polideportivo Máximo Viloria in Barquisimeto, Venezuela between 8–10 June. Twenty-five nations and a total of 398 athletes participated at the competition. Initially set to be held in the country's capital Caracas, the competition was moved to Maracay in April 2011. The Venezuelan Sports Ministry had not committed any funds for the event. As a result, the president of the Venezuelan Athletics Federation, Wilfredy León, rescheduled the event following the promise of the Aragua state governor Rafael Isea to help build a new stadium for the championships. The 2010 Ibero-American Championships in Athletics (Spanish: ''XIV Campeonato Iberoamericano de Atletismo'') was an athletics competition which was held at the Estadio Municipal BahÃa Sur in San Fernando, Cádiz, Spain from 4–6 June.
