Adriana Denisse Garcia Mejia (born c.1982) is an Ecuadorian politician. She was elected to Ecuador's National Assembly in 2023 and became a member of the Gente Buena movement. Life Garcia was born in Manta in about 1982. She studied accounting and became an auditor. In 2020 she was the director of the port of Manta. In the following year she unsuccessfully stood for election to the National Assembly. She stood in the province of Manabí as part of the now defunct . New national elections were unexpectedly required in 2023, because of the cross-death decree issued by President Guillermo Lasso. Garcia was elected as part of a short-lived alliance between the Construye Movement and the Gente Buena movement. She became a member of the National Assembly's Permanent Commission for Oversight and Political Control. Manta, Ecuador
Manta, also known as San Pablo de Manta, is a city in Ecuador, cantonal head of the Manta Canton, as well as the largest and most populated city in the Manabí Province. It is the seventh most populous in the country. Manta has existed since Pre-Columbian times. It was a trading post for the Manta, also known as Manteños. According to the 2022 census, the city had a population of 258,697. In the 21st century, its main economic activity is tuna fishing. Other economic activities include tourism and a chemical industry, with products ranging from cleaning supplies to oils and margarine. Located on the Pacific coast, Manta has the largest seaport in Ecuador. Andrea Yalu Rivadeneira Calderón (born c.1988) is an Ecuadorian politician who became a member of Ecuador's National Assembly in 2023. Life Rivadeneira was born in Zamora Canton in 1988. She was one of three girls born to María Elena Calderón Ojeda and Juan Felipe Rivadeneira Jaramillo. She qualified as a lawyer after passing her degree at the National University of Loja. She later went to Spain to obtain a master's degree in Human Rights from the International University of La Rioja. New national elections were unexpectedly required in 2023, because of the cross-death decree issued by President Guillermo Lasso. Zamora Chinchipe's national assembly members, Isabel Enriquez and Diego Esparza Aguirre, were replaced by Rivadeneira and Héctor Valladarles. Mariana Yumbay is a politician, writer and judge in Ecuador. In 2023 she was elected to National Assembly (Ecuador), Ecuador's National Assembly. Life Yumbay is a Kichwa woman from Bolívar Province (Ecuador), Bolívar Province in Ecuador.
