Adria International Raceway
Adria International Raceway was a motorsport race track near Adria in the Veneto region of Northern Italy. It was a permanent road course, the venue has hosted the FIA GT Championship, Italian Formula Three, Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters and the Formula Three Euroseries. In 2021, the circuit shape was changed and the circuit length was extended to in order to host WTCR races in the 2021 season. In March 2022, the circuit was closed due to its debts. Use in simulations / games The 2004 video game TOCA Race Driver 2, includes the circuit in the DTM section of the game. It was also used in the 2009 game Superstars V8 Racing. Adria
Adria is a town and ''comune'' in the province of Rovigo in the Veneto region of northern Italy, situated between the mouths of the rivers Adige and Po River, Po. The remains of the Etruria, Etruscan city of Atria or Hatria are to be found below the modern city, three to four metres below the current level. Adria and Spina were the Etruscan ports and depots for Bologna#History, Felsina (now Bologna). Adria may have given its name during an early period to the Adriatic Sea, to which it was connected by channels. 2010 Adria Superleague Formula Round
The 2010 Adria Superleague Formula round was a Superleague Formula round held on September 5, 2010, at the Adria International Raceway circuit, Adria, Italy. It was Superleague Formula's first visit to the circuit after visits in previous years to Italy's Vallelunga and Monza circuits. It was the eighth round of the 2010 Superleague Formula season. The Panoz DP09 (commonly known as the Superleague DP09) was the sole spec open-wheel race car used in the Superleague Formula series. It was produced by Élan Motorsport Technologies at Braselton, Georgia, in the United States. TCR Touring Car
A TCR Touring Car is a touring car specification, first introduced in 2014 and is now employed by a multitude of series worldwide. All TCR Touring Cars are front-wheel drive cars based on 4 or 5 door production vehicles, and are powered by 1.75 to 2.0 litre turbocharged engines. While the bodyshell and suspension layout of the production vehicle is retained in a TCR car, and many models use a production gearbox, certain accommodations are made for the stresses of the racetrack including upgraded brakes and aerodynamics.
