West Papua (), formerly Irian Jaya Barat (West Irian), is an Indonesian Provinces of Indonesia, province located in Indonesia Western New Guinea, Papua. An island or isle is a piece of land, distinct from a continent, completely surrounded by water. Seram Sea
The Seram Sea or Ceram Sea () is one of several small seas between the scattered islands of Indonesia. It is a section of the Pacific Ocean with an area of approximately located between Buru and Seram, which are two of the islands once called the South Moluccas. These islands are the native habitat of plants long coveted for their use as spices, such as nutmeg, cloves, and black peppercorns, and the seas surrounding them were busy shipping routes. Bomberai Peninsula
Bomberai Peninsula () is located in the Western New Guinea region. It is south of the Bird's Head Peninsula, and Bintuni Bay separates the two peninsulas. To the west lies the Sebakor Bay and to the south Kamrau Bay. On the southeast Arguni Bay lies between the peninsula and the Bird's Neck Isthmus. Sabuda island lies off the western tip of the peninsula, and is separated from the mainland by Berau and Bintuni straits. Geography The entire peninsula is covered by a dense tropical rainforest. Nautilus Strait
A nautilus (; ) is any of the various species within the cephalopod family Nautilidae. This is the sole extant family of the superfamily Nautilaceae and the suborder Nautilina. It comprises nine living species in two genera, the type of which is the genus ''Nautilus''.
