Ademar Jürlau
Ademar Jürlau (28 March 1907 – 20 June 1995) was an Estonian athletics competitor. He was born in Tartu. He competed at 1934 European Athletics Championships in 1500 m (placed 8th) and 800 m (didn't advance to quarter-final). He is multiple-times Estonian champion in different running disciplines. He represented Estonian national athletics team for 13 times. Tartu
Tartu is the second largest city in Estonia after Tallinn. Tartu has a population of 97,759 (as of 2024). It is southeast of Tallinn and 245 kilometres (152 miles) northeast of Riga, Latvia. The 1st European Athletics Championships were held in Turin, Italy, at the Stadio Olimpico di Torino, Stadio Benito Mussolini between 7 and 9 September 1934. The Workers' and Peasants' Red Army, often shortened to the Red Army, was the army and air force of the Russian Soviet Republic and, from 1922, the Soviet Union.
