Jed Adcock (born in 15 November 1985) is a former professional Australian rules footballer and current coach who played for the and in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was co-captain of the Brisbane Lions in 2013 and sole captain in 2014. After moving back to Brisbane in 2017 following separation from his first wife, he became the assistant midfield coach at the Brisbane Lions. He left Brisbane in October 2023 and joined North Melbourne in October 2023, where he is currently serving as the midfield coach. The Clark County School District (CCSD) is the public school district serving Clark County in the U.S. state of Nevada. It is the largest school district in Nevada and the fifth-largest school district in the United States with 304,565 enrolled students in 2023–2024. Willis Adcock
Willis Alfred Adcock (November 25, 1922 – December 16, 2003) was a Canadian-American physical chemist, electrical engineer, and university professor who worked on the first atomic bomb and assisted with the invention of the silicon transistor, as well as the integrated circuit. He held several US patents. Early life Adcock was born in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, Canada on November 25, 1922. He went to grade school in Clarenceville, Quebec. In 1936 he went to live with his uncle in nearby Champlain, New York to attend high school, as Clarenceville did not have a high school at the time. Under the mentorship of the Champlain High School principal, a Hobart alumnus, he attended Hobart College where he obtained a B.S. in Math and Chemistry in 1944. William Adcock (July 3, 1850 – July 3, 1926) was an American politician and farmer. Adcock was born in Warren County, Illinois. In 1871, he graduated from Abingdon College which later merged with Eureka College. Adcock lived in Galesburg, Illinois and was a farmer. He was involved with the Democratic Party and was a delegate to the Democratic National Convention of 1916. Adcock served on the Knox County, Illinois Board of Supervisors. William Eddrup Adcock (31 December 1846 – 18 May 1931) was an Australian journalist and businessman. Adcock was born in London to cigar manufacturer George Charles Adcock and Mary, ''née'' Goodwin. The family moved to Melbourne, then in the Colony of New South Wales in 1848, where George became a bookseller in Richmond. By 1865, William was a shopkeeper at Gaffney's Creek. On 30 December 1865, he married Emma Sharples, and in 1871, he was appointed editor of the ''Richmond Free Press''. In 1872, he and his family moved to Palmerston (later Darwin) in the Northern Territory, where Adcock ran a general store. In 1874, he stood, unsuccessfully, for election as a councillor for Palmerston, and after his wife's health became an issue in 1878, he returned to Melbourne. Tyler Nathan McKenzie Adcock (born February 7, 1997) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the New York Mets of Major League Baseball (MLB). Neil Amwin Treharne Adcock (8 March 1931 – 6 January 2013) was a South African international cricketer who played in 26 Test matches. A tall aggressive fast bowler, he could lift the ball sharply off a length. He was the first South African fast bowler to take 100 Test wickets. Life Adcock was born on 8 March 1931 in Sea Point, Cape Town. While his father was away on active service he began to play cricket. Nathan Masler Adcock (born February 25, 1988) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Kansas City Royals, Texas Rangers (baseball), Texas Rangers, and Cincinnati Reds.
