Acres Green is an unincorporated community and a census-designated place (CDP) located in Douglas County, Colorado, United States. The CDP is a part of the Denver–Aurora–Lakewood, CO Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population of the Acres Green CDP was 2,922 at the 2020 United States census. It is bordered by Lone Tree to the north, east and south and Highlands Ranch to the west. The community lies in ZIP Code 80124. History The Acres Green subdivision was built by the Morris General contractors with construction beginning on a former pasture south of County Line Road near Interstate 25 in 1971 This was the first housing development in northern Douglas County. Denver Technological Center, better known as The Denver Tech Center or DTC, is a business and economic trading center located in Colorado in the southeastern portion of the Denver Metropolitan Area, within portions of the cities of Denver and Greenwood Village. Interstate 25 (Colorado)
In the US state of Colorado, Interstate 25 (I-25) follows the north–south corridor through Colorado Springs and Denver. The highway enters the state from the north near Carr and exits the state near Starkville. The highway also runs through the cities of Fort Collins, Broomfield, Loveland, and Pueblo. The route is concurrent with U.S. Route 87 (US 87), which is unsigned, through the entire length of the state. I-25 replaced US 87 and most of US 85 for through traffic.
