Abu Raihan Biswas
Abu Raihan Biswas ( – 29 December 2019) was an Indian teacher and politician from West Bengal belonging to Socialist Unity Centre of India. He was a legislator of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly. Biography Biswas was a high school teacher. He was elected as a member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly from Hariharpara in 1972. Biswas also contested from Hariharpara in 1977 and he lost to Shaikh Imaijuddin. He took part in 7th Lok Sabha election from Murshidabad Murshidabad (), is a town in the Indian States and territories of India, state of West Bengal. West Bengal Legislative Assembly
The West Bengal Legislative Assembly (ISO 15919, ISO: ''Paścimabaṅga Vidhānasabhā'') is the unicameral legislature of the Indian state of West Bengal, located in eastern India. It consists of 294 members directly elected from single-seat constituencies through the first-past-the-post voting, FPTP voting system. The Assembly meets at Vidhan Sabha Bhavan in Kolkata, the capital of the state. 1980 Indian General Election
General elections were held in India on 3 and 6 January 1980 to elect the members of the 7th Lok Sabha, seventh Lok Sabha.
