Abreu Sodré
Roberto Costa de Abreu Sodré (21 June 1917 — 14 September 1999) was a Brazilian lawyer, businessman and politician. He was a state deputy, governor of the State of São Paulo and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brazil. He was one of the founders of the National Democratic Union (UDN) in 1945, and later a member of the National Renewal Alliance (ARENA), from 1966. He was indirectly elected to the government of São Paulo, a position he held from 31 January 1967 to 15 March 1971. He was married to Maria do Carmo Mellão de Abreu Sodré, who died on January 24, 2012, who was president of the Social Solidarity Fund, which she encouraged her husband to create as soon as he took over the São Paulo government in 1967. His father, Francisco Sodré, was the second mayor of the municipality of Santa Cruz do Rio Pardo and was responsible for the arrival of the Sorocabana Railway tracks. Ministry Of Foreign Affairs (Brazil)
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE; ; literally: ''Ministry of External Relations'') conducts Brazil's foreign relations with other countries. It is commonly referred to in Brazilian media and diplomatic jargon as Itamaraty, after the palace which houses the ministry (originally in Rio de Janeiro, and currently in a second location which also bears this name in Brasília). Since 1 January 2023, the minister responsible is Mauro Vieira. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs operates the Rio Branco Institute and the Alexandre de Gusmão Foundation. History There were three relevant moments that defined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as the institution that would later be established. São Paulo Metro
The São Paulo Metro (, ), commonly called the ''Metrô'', is one of the rapid transit companies serving the city of São Paulo, alongside the Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitanos, São Paulo Metropolitan Trains Company (CPTM), Via Quatro and Via Mobilidade, all four forming the largest Transport in São Paulo#Rail transport, metropolitan rail transport network of Latin America. The metro system carries about 4,200,000 passengers a day. The six lines in the metro system operate on of route, serving 91 stations. It is complemented by a network of metropolitan trains operated by CPTM and ViaMobilidade, which serve the city of São Paulo and the Greater São Paulo, São Paulo Metropolitan Region. The systems combined form a long network, all accessible via one single ticket.
