Abdulkadir Özgen
Abdulkadir Özgen (born 8 September 1986) is a Turkish- German professional footballer who plays as a forward. Career Özgen began his career with TSV Donnerberg and SV Breinig. In 2006, he joined Alemannia Aachen where he signed his first professional contract. In summer 2010, he joined Kayserispor and moved to Bucaspor in January 2011. On 28 December 2015 it was confirmed, that Özgen had signed for Adana Demirspor. In August 2016, Özgen joined Balıkesirspor. Personal life Özgen's family immigrated to Germany from Turkey, but his birthplace is the North Rhine-Westphalia city of Stolberg. Stolberg (, Ripuarian language, Ripuarian: ) is a town in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It has a long history as an industrial town and belongs to the district Aachen (district), Aachen and the lower district court of Eschweiler. Geography Stolberg is located approximately 5 km east of Aachen in a valley at the fringes of the Eifel which begins in the East with the Hürtgenwald and in the South in the municipality of Monschau. It borders Eschweiler in the north and the Aachen city district of Eilendorf (Aachen), Eilendorf in the west. Bucaspor was a professional Turkish football club based in Buca, İzmir. Formed in 1928, Bucaspor were nicknamed Fırtına (Storm). The club colours were yellow and navy. It was dissolved in 2020. History Bucaspor was the fifth football club to be based in İzmir, following Karşıyaka S.K. (1912), Altay S.K. (1914), Altınordu S.K. (1923), and Göztepe A.Ş. (1925). Yellow and navy were chosen for the club colours. Former president Yusuf Muhafiz pushed to make red one of the colours of the club, to distinguish it from Istanbul-based club Fenerbahçe.
