Abdul Muntaqim
Abdul Muntaqim ibni Al-Muhtadee Billah (born 17 March 2007) is the oldest child and elder son of Al-Muhtadee Billah, heir-apparent to the Sultan of Brunei, and his wife, Sarah, Crown Princess of Brunei. The Prince is second-in-line to become Sultan of Brunei after his father, who is heir-apparent to Abdul Muntaqim's grandfather Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei. Early life and education Prince Muntaqim was born on 17 March 2007, at the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital in Bandar Seri Begawan. In honour of the birth of the prince, a 19-gun salute was fired from the cannons on the grounds of Istana Nurul Iman, the official residence of the Sultan of Brunei. 2025 Brunei FA Cup
The 2025 Brunei FA Cup is the 14th edition of the Brunei FA Cup. A record low of 12 teams will enter the competition that is to run from February to May 2025 by the Football Association of Brunei Darussalam. On 18 May 2025, the second team of DPMM FC became the winners of the competition after a 1–0 victory over Indera SC. Competition format 12 teams are divided into four groups of three and will only play against each other once. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage, where a home-and-away format will be introduced. A third-place match will be held for the beaten semi-finalists. Wijaya Football Club (; abbrev: WFC) is a professional football club from Brunei that competes in the Brunei Super League. They are a founding member of both the B-League in 2002, as well as the Super League in 2012. They were also the inaugural winners of the Brunei FA Cup in 2002. The 2024–25 Brunei Super League was the tenth season of the Brunei Super League, the top football league in Brunei since its establishment in 2012. The league began on 30 August 2024 and concluded on 7 February 2025. The official match ball is manufactured by Kelme. On 2 February 2025, Kasuka FC became the champions for the second consecutive time by beating DPMM FC II at Jerudong Park Mini Stadium 2–3 in their final fixture. The 2022 AFF U-16 Championship was the fifteenth edition of the AFF U-16 Youth Championship, the annual international youth association football championship organised by the ASEAN Football Federation for men's under-16 national teams of Southeast Asia.
