Nagraj Popatrao Manjule (born 24 August 1978) is an Indian film director, actor, producer, scriptwriter, poet, screenwriter, and filmmaker. He works in Marathi cinema, and is best known for '' Sairat'' and '' Pistulya''—the latter for which he received National Film Award in the National Film Award for Best First Non-Feature Film of a Director. He made his Hindi Cinema debut in 2022, with a film called Jhund, starring Amitabh Bachchan. At the 61st National Film Awards, '' Fandry'' won the Indira Gandhi Award for Best Debut Film of a Director. In 2018, Manjule published a book of poetry in Marathi titled ''Unhachya Katavirudhha'' which won the ''Bhairuratan Damani Sahitya Puraskar''. The 65th National Film Awards ceremony was an event during which the Directorate of Film Festivals presented its annual National Film Awards to honour the best films of 2017 in Cinema of India, Indian cinema. ''Baji'' is a 2015 Indian Marathi-language superhero film written and directed by Nikhil Mahajan and produced by Vivek Rangachari and Amit Ahirrao under the banner DAR Motion Pictures and Virtue Entertainment and it is the first ever Marathi superhero film. Akash Thosar
Akash Thosar (born 24 February 1993) is an Indian actor who appears in Marathi and Hindi films. He is best known for his role as Parshya in the 2016 Marathi film ''Sairat'' for which he won a Filmfare Award Marathi Best Male Debut. He was ranked eighth in ''The Times of India'''s Top 20 Most Desirable Men of Maharashtra in 2019. Career Akash Thosar was born and raised in Karmala, Maharashtra. Sayaji Shinde (Marathi pronunciation: əjaːd͡ʒiː ʃin̪d̪eː born 13 January 1959) is an Indian actor who has acted in Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, English, Gujarati, Hindi, and Bhojpuri films. Sayaji started his acting career in 1978 in Marathi Plays one-act plays. ''Ghar Banduk Biryani'' (), abbreviated as ''GBB'', is a 2023 Indian Marathi-language action comedy film directed by Hemant Jangal Awtade in his directorial debut, starring Akash Thosar, Sayaji Shinde, Nagraj Manjule, and Sayli Patil in the lead roles.
