Aage Møst
Aage Møst (29 August 1923 – 19 April 2011) was a Norwegian journalist and sports official. He was born in Skotselv. He represented the clubs Bakke IF, Oslo-Studentenes IK, IL Tyrving and Høvik IF during his career. He was a journalist by education, and worked in ''Drammens Tidende'', ''Sportsmanden'' and for many years in ''Aftenposten''. In 1968, he left ''Aftenposten'', and started writing for ''Byggeindustrien''. He was active in the Norwegian Specialized Press Association and the editors' union ''Fagpressens redaktørforening''. When he was 27 years old, he was elected to the association board of directors of the Norwegian Athletics Association. He was the secretary in 1951, vice president from 1954 to 1955 and in 1956 he was elected president of the federation, a position he held until 1964. The Norwegian Olympic and Paralympic Committee and Confederation of Sports ( NIF), commonly known as the Norwegian Sports Confederation () is the umbrella organization for sport in Norway. It is the largest volunteering organization in Norway, with more than 2 million members and 12,000 sports clubs in 19 region confederations and 54 national federations. Per Sonerud
Per Sonerud (15 August 1915 – 28 March 1993) was a Norwegian banker, sports official and politician for the Conservative Party. He was born in Skjeberg. He took middle school in 1934, and spent his career in Sarpsborg Elektriske Bureau from 1933 to 1935 and Sarpsborg Sparebank from 1935 to 1982. He chaired his bankers' trade union from 1955 to 1963. Sonerud was a member of Sarpsborg school board from 1959 to 1975 and of the city council from 1959 to 1963 and 1967 to 1975. He was elected to the Parliament of Norway from Østfold in 1965, but was not re-elected in 1969. He chaired the sports club Sarpsborg IL from 1938 to 1964. Skotselv
Skotselv is a village in the municipality of Øvre Eiker, Norway. Its population (2005) is 684, of which 8 people live within the border of the neighbouring municipality of Modum. It has a railway station on the Randsfjord Line. History Skotselv as a small village has existed since the Viking Age. At that time the main river, now called Drammenselva, rose higher than today's level, making transport and trade by ship highly accessible.
