''ATLiens'' is the second studio album by the American hip hop duo Outkast. It was released on August 27, 1996, by Arista Records and LaFace Records. From 1995 to 1996, Outkast recorded ''ATLiens'' in sessions at several Atlanta studios—Bosstown Recording Studios, Doppler Recording Studios, PatchWerk Recording Studio, Purple Dragon Studios, and Studio LaCoCo—as well as Chung King Recording Studio and Sound On Sound Recording in New York City. The album features outer space-inspired production sounds, with Outkast and producers Organized Noize incorporating elements of dub and gospel into the compositions. Jazzy Belle
"Jazzy Belle" is the third and last single from hip hop duo Outkast's second studio album, ''ATLiens''. It was released as a remix single and it peaked at #52 on the Billboard Hot 100, ''Billboard'' Hot 100. The song is the only single from the album ''ATLiens'' to be produced by Organized Noize, the other two singles being produced by Outkast themselves. The rapper Tupac Shakur is mentioned in Verse Two by Big Boi. American rapper Ludacris claims he tried to sneak in to the music video for the song but was escorted out. Babyface (musician), Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds provides back up vocals on the Swift C's Remix. Big Boi has claimed that he didn't like the production on "Jazzy Belle", but André 3000 was so enthusiastic with the track that he went along with it. Organized Noize is an American production duo from Atlanta, Georgia, currently composed of Ray Murray, Rick Wade and Sleepy Brown. History Among the hit records they have worked on include TLC's "Waterfalls", En Vogue's " Don't Let Go (Love)", and Ludacris' " Saturday (Oooh! Ooooh!)". Doppler Studios is a recording studio in Atlanta, Georgia, United States, established in 1969 as a one-room studio, and grew to host seven rooms. History Founded by original co-owners Pete Caldwell and Tom Wells to serve as their jingle company, Doppler was initially a single recording studio; in 1978 the move was made to the current location on Piedmont Circle into a building housing two studios. Between 1978 and 1985, two more studios were added to the building. LaFace Records was an American record label based in Atlanta, Georgia, that operated as a unit of Sony Music Entertainment from 2008 to 2011 and was historically a part of Bertelsmann Music Group from 1989 to 2004.
