AKB48 Show!
''AKB48 Show!'' is a TV variety show produced by NHK in Japan, and aired weekly on BS Premium and NHK World Premium from October 5, 2013, to March 24, 2019. The show featured songs, comedy skits and short dramas performed by AKB48 and sister groups. From until , the show aired on BS Premium every Sunday at 10:50 PM JST, with repeats from previous episode every Sunday at 09:30 AM JST. The show ended on March 24, 2019, after 216 episodes. Episode structure Episodes usually start with a short skit set in a dressing room, after which the performers run onto the stage for their opening performance, which changes every episode. Generally the 48G groups have two or three musical performances. Some episodes have special performances, solo performances or live band performances. AKB48 Group
, or AKB48 sister groups, shortened to 48 Group or 48g, refers to the sister groups of the Japanese idol girl group AKB48. Based on the same concept "idols you can meet", it currently consists of five sister groups in locations across Japan and seven (DEL, SGO, MUB excluded) sister groups in major Asian cities overseas from Indonesia to Thailand. The Japan-based sister groups not only release their own singles, but also perform on some of the AKB48 singles and events. , is a Japanese actress. She was a first generation member of the Japanese idol girl group Nogizaka46. She was also the captain of the group before her departure. is a Japanese actress, YouTuber and former singer. She is a former member of the idol group AKB48. She was the second General Manager of the AKB48 Group. is a Japanese popular music singer. Biography Inagaki was born and raised in Sendai, the capital of Miyagi Prefecture, and graduated from Miyagi Prefectural Technical High School. One of his earliest musical influences was Stevie Wonder. While a student in middle school, he joined a local band called Faces as a vocalist and drummer.
