AI Nationalism
AI nationalism is the idea that nations should develop and control their own artificial intelligence technologies to advance their own interests and ensure technological sovereignty. This concept is gaining traction globally, leading countries to implement new laws, form strategic alliances, and invest significantly in domestic AI capabilities. The National Security Commission on Artificial Intelligence (NSCAI) was an independent commission of the United States, United States of America from 2018 to 2021.
