ACP Montréal-Nord was a Canadian semi-professional soccer club based in Montréal-Nord, Montreal, Quebec that played in the Première Ligue de soccer du Québec. History The club was formed in 2014 as a joint venture between the Académie Canadienne Prospective and the Club de Soccer de Montréal-Nord. It runs a successful youth academy. In 2014, the semi-professional club was established to play in the newly formed Première Ligue de soccer du Québec, a Division III league, with Harry Makdessian serving as head coach. Their home field was located at Parc St Laurent. The team was mostly made up of players who came over from the FC St-Léonard team that folded after the 2013 season. They played their first match on May 2, against FC Gatineau. They finished in last place in the 2014, after being deducted two points for forfeiting matches against CS Longueuil and AS Blainville, placing them below Blainville in the standings. Association de Soccer de Blainville, commonly referred to as A.S. Blainville, is a Canadian semi-professional soccer club based in the Montreal suburb of Blainville, Quebec, that plays in Ligue1 Québec. They are the only club to have participated in every season of the PLSQ. History The club was founded in 1986. Rocco Placentino (born 25 February 1982) is a Canadian retired international soccer player. He is the technical director of Canadian club CS Saint-Laurent. Career Club Born in Montreal, Quebec, Placentino spent most of his early career in the Italian lower leagues, representing Avellino, Teramo, Cavese, Gualdo, Massese and Gubbio. Gabard Fénélon (born 3 June 1981) is a Haitian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Canadian club CS Mont-Royal Outremont. Early years Fénelon was born in Tortuga (Île de la Tortue), a small Haitian island in the northwest of the country. Jason Beaulieu (born 12 February 1994) is a Canadian former professional soccer player who played as a goalkeeper. Early life Beaulieu was born in Montreal, Quebec, and grew up in the off-island suburb of Boisbriand. He played youth soccer for FC Boisbriand until 2011 when he joined the Montreal Impact Academy. In 2011, he played with Montreal's senior academy team in the Canadian Soccer League's first division.
