SCANTRAXX is a Dutch record label founded by Dov Elkabas (famously known as DJ The Prophet) in 2002, specializing in both hardstyle and hardcore music. S.W.A.T Between November 2007 and April 2008, the label organized a number of shows under the name of ''S.W.A.T'' (Scantraxx World Artist Tour) in Europe and Australia. Those events were repeated in 2009 and 2010, but only in Europe. DJ The Prophet
Dov Joseph Elkabas (born 5 November 1968), known professionally as DJ The Prophet, is a Dutch hardcore techno and hardstyle DJ and producer. The Prophet is also the owner of one of the largest hardstyle record labels, Scantraxx. Biography The Prophet started his career as a DJ in 1983 after he discovered turntables at a disco in Amsterdam. He was working in a hotel at the time, and performing as DJ on the side. He was asked to choose, and made the choice to DJ full-time. He started spinning hip hop music before a switch to house in 1988. About three years later, he set up a team of DJs known as "The Dreamteam", together with DJ Dano, Buzz Fuzz and Gizmo. The team was a huge success in the gabber scene. Later, The Prophet switched from hardcore to hardstyle because he did not like the fact that the hardcore community wanted the music to become 'harder'. He is famous both as a DJ and as a producer. Scantraxx Special is a sublabel of Dutch record label Scantraxx. Scantraxx Silver was one of the earlier Scantraxx sub-labels, founded it 2004. Second Identity
Second Identity is a hardstyle music project consisting of Dennis Koehoorn ( Scope DJ) and Onne Witjes ( A-Lusion). Ran-D
Randy "Ran-D" Wieland (18 May 1981 in Zeeland) is a Dutch DJ and music producer. Ran-D has been active in hardstyle music since 2006, when he released his first track "D-Pression" on Special Records. After his debut release, Ran-D moved on to release his music on the large Hardstyle Record Label A2 Records, which is a sub-label of Scantraxx Recordz. After releasing on A2 Records for seven years, in March 2015 and alongside Frequencerz, Adaro and B-Front, Ran-D founded the hardstyle record label ''Roughstate Music''. Ran-D has released a cover version of "Zombie" by The Cranberries, "Living for the Moment," "Firestarter," "Nirvana," "Suicidal Superstar" with Phuture Noize, "Band of Brothers," and "Hurricane," which was awarded 1st place in the Q-dance Top 100 of 2018. Brennan Heart
Fabian Bohn (born 2 March 1982), known professionally as Brennan Heart, is a Dutch DJ and hardstyle producer. Career Brennan & Heart In 2002, Fabian Bohn co-founded with Pieter Heijnen (known as DJ Thera) a duo named Brennan & Heart concentrating on making hardstyle music, after having experimented with various styles of music like techno, hard trance and tech trance. After more than three years of cooperation, the duo split and went their own ways, with Bohn taking the name Brennan Heart and Pieter Heijnen continuing as DJ Thera. Solo Bohn, now Brennan Heart, continued producing hardstyle music after the split. In 2006, Brennan Heart joined the Dutch label Scantraxx Records (created by The Prophet). Atmozfears
Tim van de Stadt, known by his stage name Atmozfears, is a Dutch hardstyle artist. Atmozfears was previously a trio, consisting of Tim, Kevin Keiser and Michael Jessen, formed in 2009. By the end of 2012, Jessen had left the group. In February 2012, Atmozfears joined the hardstyle label Scantraxx Records. Atmozfears has played at such festivals as Defqon.1, The Qontinent, Q-Base and Tomorrowland. On July 1, 2013, Scantraxx announced that Tim and Kevin had gone separate ways. Tim kept the "Atmozfears" synonym, while Kevin would end up becoming another hardstyle producer called Infrno. Hardstyle
Hardstyle is an electronic dance music, electronic dance genre that emerged in the late 1990s, with origins in the Netherlands, Belgium and Italy. Hardstyle mixes influences from techno, new beat and Hardcore (electronic dance music genre), hardcore. Early hardstyle was typically written at 140 Tempo, BPM (''beats per minute''); however, modern hardstyle is faster, produced around 150 BPM. It consisted of overdriven and hard-sounding kick drums, often accompanied by an offbeat bass, known as a "reverse bass". As the genre grew, the production techniques and songwriting changed to be suited to a more commercial audience. Modern hardstyle can be recognized by its use of synthesizer melodies and distorted sounds, coupled with hardstyle's signature combination of percussion and bass (sound), bass.
