AS Puma Generaleña was a professional football club in Costa Rica. They are based in San Isidro de El General and they played their home matches at the Estadio Municipal Pérez Zeledón. History The club was only founded in 2010 after its predecessor ''Asociación Deportiva Generaleña'' merged in 1991 with Asociación Deportiva Pérez Zeledón to become Municipal Pérez Zeledón. After striker Marvin Chinchilla was dismissed by Santos de Guápiles, he decided to retire and start his own club along with his brothers Rigoberto, who became club president, German and Franklin. Estadio Municipal Pérez Zeledón
Estadio Municipal Pérez Zeledón is a multi-use stadium in Pérez Zeledón (canton), Pérez Zeledón, Costa Rica. It is currently used mostly for football (soccer), football matches and is the home stadium of the Liga FPD, Costa Rican FPD team Municipal Pérez Zeledón. Marvin Chinchilla Calderón (born 11 February 1977) is a Costa Rican football player who currently plays for Puma Generaleña in the Costa Rican Primera División. Club career He played for several Costa Rica top-tier clubs, such as Pérez Zeledón, Alajuelense, Cartaginés and Liberia. The Primera División of Costa Rica, commonly known as Liga de Fútbol de Primera División (Liga FPD), and Liga Promerica for sponsorship reasons, is the top professional association football division in Costa Rica.
