A.D. Ovarense
Associação Desportiva Ovarense commonly known as simply as Ovarense is a Portugal, Portuguese sports club from the city of Ovar, Aveiro District, Aveiro. The club was founded on 19 December 1921. It currently plays at the Estádio Marques da Silva which they have played in since 1954. The stadium also plays host to the club's reserve and youth teams. As a club it is well known for its Ovarense Basquetebol, basketball team who have won nineteen major trophies since their establishment in 1970. The club currently competes in the Aveiro Football Association, AF Aveiro Second Division following a seventh-place finish in the 2011–12 AF Aveiro Second Division season. Estádio Marques Da Silva
Parque Marques da Silva is a multi-use stadium in Ovar, Aveiro, Portugal. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of A.D. Ovarense. It is also the home to Ovarense's U19s, U17s, U15s and B teams. Eduardo Luís Marques Kruss Gomes (born 6 December 1955), known as Eduardo Luís, is a Portuguese former football central defender and manager. Club career Born in Loures, Lisbon District, Eduardo Luís started playing professionally with C.S. Marítimo after unsuccessfully emerging through S.L. Benfica's youth system. He re-signed with the latter for the 1975–76 season, but only appeared in three Primeira Liga games and subsequently returned to the Madeira club, helping it to promote from the Segunda Liga at the first attempt and proceeding to only miss a total of two league matches the following four top-flight campaigns. Miguel Alexandre Areias Lopes (born 2 June 1977), known as Areias, is a Portuguese former professional footballer who played mainly as a left-back.
