A-Teens
A-Teens (stylized as A*Teens) is a Swedish pop music group from Stockholm. The group was formed by Niklas Berg in 1998 as an ABBA tribute group called ABBA-Teens, which was later renamed A-Teens. The band members are Marie Serneholt, Amit Sebastian Paul, Amit Paul, Dhani Lennevald, and Sara Lumholdt. The group is best known for the singles "Mamma Mia (ABBA song)#A-Teens version, Mamma Mia" (1999), "Upside Down (A-Teens song), Upside Down" (2000) and "Floorfiller" (2002), all of which were hits worldwide. The group was particularly successful in their home country where they amassed ten top 10 hit singles on the Swedish charts. After six years together, the group disbanded following the release of their ''Greatest Hits (A-Teens album), Greatest Hits'' album in May 2004. They reunited as a group in 2024. The ABBA Generation
''The ABBA Generation'' is the debut studio album by Swedish pop group A-Teens. It was released on 25 August 1999 by Stockholm Records. The album is composed of cover versions of well-known ABBA songs. The album spawned four singles, " Mamma Mia", "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)", " Super Trouper", and "Dancing Queen". The album reached number one in Sweden and Argentina. In the United States, the album peaked at seventy-one on the ''Billboard'' 200 Albums Chart and was certified Gold. Greatest Hits (A-Teens Album)
''Greatest Hits'' is A-Teens' last album. It is a compilation including their biggest worldwide hits, such as " Mamma Mia", "Upside Down", " Halfway Around the World", " Floorfiller", and many others. Every track included on the album (except for the new tracks) reached the Top 20 in at least one country. The album was planned to be released in early 2004, but due to problems with Stockholm Records/Universal Music, A-Teens released the album on May 5, 2004. For the release of this album, the A-Teens called all their fans through their website asking for pictures, and they included the pictures on the booklet of the album. The tracks "The Final Cut" and "With or Without You" were written by the members of the band, giving messages of "goodbye" and "thanks" to their fans. This album was not released worldwide. "Upside Down" (titled "Bouncing off the Ceiling (Upside Down)" outside Europe) is a song by Swedish pop music group A-Teens, released as first single from their second album, '' Teen Spirit'' (2001). "Mamma Mia" is a song by the Swedish pop group ABBA, written by Benny Andersson, Björn Ulvaeus and Stig Anderson, with the lead vocals shared by Agnetha Fältskog and Anni-Frid Lyngstad. It was later released on 14 October 2002 in Europe as the first single from the European reissue of ''Pop 'til You Drop'', '' New Arrival''. She was a member of the Swedish quartet A-Teens, and briefly pursued a solo recording career after the band dissolved. Amit Sebastian Paul (born 29 October 1983) is a Swedish businessman and singer. He is a member of the Swedish pop band A*Teens from 1998 to 2004 2024, and briefly pursued a solo recording career after the band dissolved. Early life, family and education Paul was born in Boden, Sweden. His father is a Bengali Hindu who relocated to Sweden from India 10 years before Amit's birth, while his mother was originally from Värmland.
