2024–25 A-League Women
The 2024–25 A-League Women, known as the Ninja A-League for sponsorship reasons, is the seventeenth season of A-League Women, the Australian national women's soccer competition. Melbourne City are the defending premiers and Sydney FC are the defending champions. Central Coast Mariners won their first ever A-League Women title, defeating Melbourne Victory 5–4 on penalties after a 1–1 draw after extra time in the Grand Final. Melbourne City retained their status as premiers but did not play in the Grand Final, having been defeated by Central Coast Mariners in the semi-finals. Tori Hansen
Tori Elizabeth Hansen (born January 14, 2001) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defender for Brooklyn FC of the USL Super League. Internationally she has represented the United States at multiple youth levels. Early life Born in Raleigh, North Carolina, Hansen first began playing recreational club soccer for an under-5 side in the local Capital Area Soccer League (CASL). She progressed through the CASL age groups before joining the North Carolina Courage U.S. Soccer Development Academy at under-17 level and captained the team. In July 2018, she was one of two academy players rostered by the club's senior team for the exhibition 2018 Women's International Champions Cup and was an unused substitute for both games. Mariah Lee
Mariah Allison Lee (born June 30, 1996) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a forward for Vancouver Rise FC in the Northern Super League. Club career OL Reign Lee made her NWSL debut in the 2020 NWSL Challenge Cup on July 8, 2020. FC Nordsjaelland Lee transferred from Celtic to Danish club, FC Nordsjaelland in August 2021 for the 2021/22 season. In August 2022 the club announced her departure to Sporting Club Huelva. Jenna Holtz (born October 25, 1995) is an American soccer player who last played for Adelaide United FC in the A-League Women. Early life and career Holtz started playing football at a young age with local club Washington Premier F.C., alongside fellow American Mariah Lee. Holtz played college soccer for Santa Clara Broncos and Guelph Gryphons, before signing with Seattle Sounders FC women's team Sound FC in the Women's Premier Soccer League. As newly appointed Captain, Holtz led the club to the 2018 WPSL season, and subsequent championship undefeated. Adelaide United Football Club is an Australian women's soccer team based in Adelaide, South Australia. Founded in 2008, it is the affiliated women's team of Adelaide United. Hannah Elizabeth Blake (born 5 May 2000) is a professional footballer who plays for Durham and has represented New Zealand in association football at both age group and international level. Victoria Frances Bruce (born May 31, 1994) is an American soccer player who plays as a defender for USL Super League club Carolina Ascent. She played college soccer for the North Carolina Tar Heels and the Davidson Wildcats. Early life She graduated from Cannon School in Concord, North Carolina.
