91st Street Station (IRT Broadway–Seventh Avenue Line)
The 91st Street station was a local metro station, station on the IRT Broadway–Seventh Avenue Line of the New York City Subway. It was located at 91st Street and Broadway (Manhattan), Broadway on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. The 91st Street station was constructed for the Interborough Rapid Transit Company (IRT) as part of the Early history of the IRT subway, city's first subway line, which was approved in 1900. Construction of the line segment that includes the 91st Street station began on August 22 of the same year. The station opened on October 27, 1904, as one of the original 28 stations of the New York City Subway. The station was closed on February 2, 1959, as a result of a platform lengthening project at the two adjacent stations, 86th Street (IRT Broadway–Seventh Avenue Line), 86th Street and 96th Street (IRT Broadway–Seventh Avenue Line), 96th Street. 91st Street Station (Hudson–Bergen Light Rail)
91st Street is a proposed station along the Northern Branch Corridor Project extension of Hudson-Bergen Light Rail in the Babbitt Section of North Bergen, New Jersey. The station site is located along the Northern Branch (CSX) south of the Edgewater Branch ( NYSW) at the city line with Fairview west of U.S. Route 1/9 (Tonnelle Avenue). It is designed to have two side platforms and small parking area for 32 vehicles. Erie Railroad's Northern Branch and the New York, Susquehanna, and Western (NYSW) maintained a minor station at Babitt nearby 83rd Street in North Bergen. After diverging the Northern Branch crossed under the West Shore Railroad and proceeded to next station stop at Railroad Avenue in Fairview. The new station at 91st Street is located between the two historical stations. 93rd Street (South Chicago) station is a Metra Electric Line station on East 93rd St and South Baltimore Avenue (9300 S, 3300 E) in Chicago's South Chicago neighborhood. The station provides transport services to Chicago's South Chicago, South Deering, and East Side neighborhoods. The station is located southeast of Millennium Station, the line's northern terminus at Randolph/South Water Street in downtown Chicago. , South Chicago (93rd Street) is the 101st busiest of Metra's 236 non-downtown stations, with an average of 472 weekday boardings. The South Chicago Branch, a spur line, was built for the Illinois Central Railroad (IC). The IC operated the South Chicago Branch from startup in 1883 until the line was sold, with the rest of Metra Electric, to the public sector in 1987. The line was electrified in 1926.
