5 (previously Five Download and later Demand 5 and My5) is the brand name of video-on-demand services offered by Channel 5 Broadcasting Limited, operator of TV channel 5, in the United Kingdom. The service is ad-supported and provided over-the-top to various different consumer devices. It is owned by Paramount Global and operated by their Paramount Networks UK & Australia division. History The service went live on 26 June 2008. As Five Download, the service offered downloads in Windows Media Video format of the US imports '' CSI'', ''House'' and ''Grey's Anatomy''. Individual episodes could be 'rented', with some episodes available seven days before they appeared on TV. KAUU
KAUU (channel 5) is a television station in Anchorage, Alaska, United States, affiliated with MyNetworkTV. It is owned by Gray Media alongside dual NBC/CBS affiliate KTUU-TV (channel 2). The two stations share studios on East 40th Avenue in Anchorage; KAUU's Knik TV Mast, transmitter is located in Knik-Fairview, Alaska, Knik, Alaska. KAUU (as KYES-TV) acquired the CBS affiliation for Anchorage on July 31, 2020, when Gray Television purchased the non-license assets of KTVA (channel 11) from Denali Media Holdings, a subsidiary of local cable television operator GCI. KAUU continues to carry its former primary service and schedule, which includes syndicated programming and MyNetworkTV, on its fourth subchannel, and GCI channel 11.
