Hong Kong Cultural Centre
The Hong Kong Cultural Centre () is a multipurpose performance facility in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong. Located at Salisbury Road, Hong Kong, Salisbury Road, it was built by the former Urban Council and, since 2000, has been administered by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the Government of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Government. A wide variety of cultural performances are held here. Location The centre is located on the southwestern tip of Tsim Sha Tsui, on the former location of the Kowloon railway station (KCR), Kowloon station of the Kowloon–Canton Railway. Adjacent to the centre on the west is the Star Ferry Pier, Tsim Sha Tsui, Tsim Sha Tsui Ferry Pier of the Star Ferry, while to the east are the Hong Kong Space Museum and Hong Kong Museum of Art. ''Chasing the Dragon'' (), previously known as ''King of Drug Dealers'', is a Hong Kong-Chinese action crime drama film directed by Wong Jing and Jason Kwan. The film stars Donnie Yen as Crippled Ho, based on real life gangster Ng Sik-ho and Andy Lau reprising his role as Lee Rock from the film series of the same name. The film is about an illegal immigrant from Hong Kong who sneaks into British-colonized Hong Kong in 1963 and transforms himself into a ruthless and emerging drug lord. Ronald Cheng
Ronald Cheng Chung-kei (born 9 March 1972) is a Hong Kong singer and actor. Life and career Ronald Cheng was born in Hong Kong. Originally intending to work behind the scenes as a songwriter and a producer, Cheng did odd jobs at his father (Director of EMI Asia)'s company EMI— which included doing backing vocalist for the likes of Alan Tam and Priscilla Chan — during summers as a youth. The lessons were apparently effective, as producers started taking notice of Cheng's voice and he was signed to a recording contract soon thereafter. Cheng first shot to popularity in Taiwan before returning home and enjoying some success in Hong Kong. However, his singing career went into a lull from 2000 to 2003 due to the infamous "air rage incident", when, on a flight from Los Angeles to Taipei, he became drunk and had an altercation with the flight attendant and co-pilot. Wilson Yip Wai-Shun (; born 1964) is a Hong Kong actor, filmmaker and screenwriter. His films include '' Bio Zombie'', '' The White Dragon'', '' SPL: Sha Po Lang'', '' Dragon Tiger Gate'', ''Flash Point'' and the ''Ip Man'' series. Early career A film buff at an early age, Yip went to the cinema whenever he could and often wrote reviews on the backs of ticket stubs. Sylvia Chang
Sylvia Chang (born 21 July 1953) is a Taiwanese actress, writer, singer, producer and director. In 1992, she was a member of the jury at the 42nd Berlin International Film Festival. In 2018, she was one of the jury members of the main competition section at the 75th Venice International Film Festival. Early life Chang was born in Chiayi, Taiwan.
