The 2021 Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup was the fifteenth season of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup. The season, for the ninth year contested by the riders on equal KTM 250cc 4-stroke Moto3 bikes, was held over 14 races in seven meetings on the Grand Prix motorcycle racing calendar, beginning at Algarve International Circuit, Portimão on 17 April and ending on 12 September at the MotorLand Aragón. Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup
The Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup is a motorcycle racing series contested by young, up-and-coming motorcycle riders, who have not had experience in a motorcycle grand prix previously. The class was founded in 2007, and since then a number of the rookies have progressed through to the 125cc/Moto3 championship in MotoGP. Prior to the 2013 season, a 2-stroke KTM RC 125cc engine was used. The year 2013 saw a change of machinery to the 4-stroke KTM RC250RBR, following the introduction of the four-stroke Moto3 class. The Spaniard José Antonio Rueda was the first racer to win the Cup title and his first World Championship title in the same year (2022). Mugello Circuit () is a race track in Scarperia e San Piero, Florence, Tuscany, Italy. The circuit length is . It has 15 turns and a long straight. The circuit stadium stands have a capacity of 50,000. Grand Prix motorcycle racing host an annual event at the circuit (for MotoGP and smaller classes). In 2007 and 2008 the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters held an annual event. The track is owned by Scuderia Ferrari, which uses it for Formula One testing. The first race of the A1GP 2008–09 season was originally planned to be held at the Mugello circuit on 21 September 2008. However, the race had to be cancelled due to the delay in building the new chassis for the new race cars. Scott Ogden (born 16 October 2003) is an English Grand Prix motorcycle racer, competing in his inaugural Moto3 World Championship for Michael Laverty's VisionTrack Racing Team during 2022. He won the Motostar Moto3 (Standard) British Championship in 2019, and spent 2020 and 2021 in the Spanish (CEV) Junior World Championship. Career Moto3 World Championship Ogden crashed out of the first Moto3 race of the season at Losail on lap seven of 18, when running in 19th place. In the second race at Mandalika, he scored three points with a 13th-place finish. In the third race of the season at Argentina on 3 April, Ogden failed to finish the race, pitting six laps before the end. For the fourth race of the season at Circuit of the Americas near Austin, Texas on 10 April, Ogden finished in 12th position, scoring four championship points.

The Red Bull Ring is a motorsport race track in Spielberg, Styria, Austria. The race circuit was founded as Österreichring (translation: Austrian Circuit) and hosted the Austrian Grand Prix for 18 consecutive years, from to .
