2015 Motorcycle Grand Prix Of The Americas
The 2015 Motorcycle Grand Prix of the Americas was the second round of the 2015 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It was held at the Circuit of the Americas in Elroy on April 12, 2015. In the MotoGP class, Repsol Honda's Marc Márquez took his first pole position of the season, and he ultimately went on to win the race, his third victory in as many years at the circuit. For the first time since the 2014 Aragon Grand Prix, three different manufacturers were represented on the podium; behind Márquez was Ducati's Andrea Dovizioso, who prevailed in a battle with Yamaha's Valentino Rossi, who finished in third place. Fabio Quartararo (; born 20 April 1999), nicknamed El Diablo, is a French Grand Prix motorcycle rider racing in MotoGP for Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP. Having won the 2021 MotoGP World Championship, he is the first French World Champion in the premier class' history. Jorge Lorenzo Guerrero (; born 4 May 1987) is a Spanish former professional motorcycle racer. Stefan Bradl (born 29 November 1989) is a German professional motorcycle racer. Bradl is best known for winning the Moto2 World Champion. Then he made the move to MotoGP in 2012 with LCR Honda. While in MotoGP, Bradl is best known for his performance at Laguna Seca getting the pole position and finishing second in the race behind Marc Marquez, ahead of Valentino Rossi. Scott Christopher Redding (born 4 January 1993) is a British motorcycle racer. Nicky Hayden
Nicholas Patrick Hayden (July 30, 1981 May 22, 2017), nicknamed "The Kentucky Kid", was an American professional motorcycle racer who won the MotoGP World Championship in 2006. Hayden began racing motorcycles at a young age. He began his road racing career in the CMRA before progressing to the AMA Supersport Championship and then to the AMA Superbike Championship. He won the AMA title in 2002 and was approached by the Repsol Honda team to race for them in MotoGP in 2003. Hayden largely had mixed results in his first 2 seasons at Repsol Honda only getting 4 podiums. 2014 Aragon Motorcycle Grand Prix
The 2014 Aragon motorcycle Grand Prix was the fourteenth round of the 2014 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. It was held at the Motorland Aragón in Alcañiz on 28 September 2014. The MotoGP race started in dry conditions, but as the race progressed, the conditions closed in and rain started to fall. Yamaha rider Jorge Lorenzo pitted earlier than his rivals, and as conditions continued to deteriorate, Lorenzo proved to be the quickest rider on track. Elroy, Texas
Elroy is a small unincorporated community south of Austin in southeastern Travis County, Texas, United States. General Antonio López de Santa Anna gave modern-day Elroy to a loyal officer, who swapped it for a horse and saddle to return to Mexico. The Elroy community, also known as Driskill, Dutch Waterhole, or Hume, was established 1892, named by a local store owner after his son, Leroy. A post office opened in Elroy in 1899, with George L. Hume as postmaster. This post office was discontinued in 1902, and mail was sent to Del Valle.
