Premier Soccer League
Premier is a title for the head of government in central governments, state governments and local governments of some countries. A second in command to a premier is designated as a deputy premier. A premier will normally be a head of government, but is not the head of state. Amazulu FC
Amazulu FC was a football club based in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. The club played in the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League. The team was founded in 1996 by Charles Mhlauri and after nine years the club was dissolved. In 2003 the team has won the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League. Elias Pelembe
Elias Gaspar Pelembe (born 13 November 1983 in Maputo), also known simply as Domingues, is a Mozambican footballer who currently plays for UD Songo and Mozambique. His position is midfielder. Club career Domingues, as he is nicknamed, moved to South Africa in 2007 from Desportivo Maputo. He was considered Supersport United's most influential player when they won the 2007–08 Premier Soccer League and was subsequently voted PSL Player of the Season. During the summer of 2009, he was rumoured to be closing in on a move to one of Europe's bigger leagues as he had caught the eye of Tottenham Hotspur scouts following a string of impressive performers for club and national team. Ace Ncobo
Andile Aldrin "Ace" Ncobo (born 1967 in Nqadu Village, Willowvale, Eastern Cape) is a former South African football (soccer) referee. He was a school principal (Dumalisile Comprehensive High School, Butterworth High School) and university lecturer. He resigned from education in 2007 when he took up a position as general manager for the Premier Soccer League. Ncobo was formerly a FIFA referee, and is known to have officiated in FIFA matches during the period from 2000 to 2007. Musa Otieno
Musa Otieno (born 29 December 1973 in Nairobi) is a Kenyan former footballer. Career Club Otieno has enjoyed an illustrious career on his native continent, playing for AFC Leopards and Tusker FC in Kenya, and from 1997 until 2011 for Santos in the South African Premier Soccer League. He helped them win the PSL title in 2001-02, the Bob Save Super Bowl in 2001, the BP Top 8in 2002, and the ABSA Cup in 2003. Otieno first came to the United States in 2008, playing a season on loan with the Cleveland City Stars in the USL Second Division. He made his debut for the Stars on 4 July 2008, as a 64th-minute substitute for Mark Schulte, and went on to make seven appearances, scoring one goal, and helping them to the USL2 title. On 15 December 2008, following the conclusion Santos' domestic season, Otieno returned to the Cleveland City Stars to play in their debut season in the USL First Division in 2009. Teko Modise
Teko Tsholofelo Modise (born 22 December 1982), nicknamed The General and Techno M, is a South African retired professional footballer, former Bafana Bafana captain who played as a midfielder and who is currently a staff member at Cape Town City Football Club. Regarded as one of the greatest PSL players of the modern era today, Modise's career began in the lower leagues of South African football with Ria Stars and City Pillars. During his time with the latter, he won the Mvela Golden League Player of the Season award, which earned him a move to top-flight side SuperSport United in 2006. Thanda Royal Zulu
Thanda Royal Zulu was a South African football club based in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. History The club started after a Swedish consortium that included Sven-Goran Eriksson bought the franchise from Benoni Premier United at the end of the 2006–07 season. The new owners moved the franchise from Benoni to KwaZulu-Natal. They played their home games at Richards Bay Stadium in Richards Bay having previously played their home games at the Hammarsdale Stadium in Hammarsdale. Orlando Pirates Football Club (often known as "The Buccaneers") is a South African professional football club based in the Houghton suburb of the city of Johannesburg and plays in the top-tier system of Football in South Africa known as DStv Premiership. Kaizer Chiefs Football Club (often known as Chiefs) are a South African professional football club based in Naturena, Johannesburg South, that plays in the Premier Soccer League.
