The Hong Kong League Cup 2007–08 is the 8th staging of the Hong Kong League Cup. The competition started on 19 January 2008 with 10 Hong Kong First Division clubs and concluded on 22 March 2008 with South China beat Kitchee by 4-2 in the final. South China won their second League Cup title. Each team plays one match with other teams in the group once. The top 2 teams of the groups qualify for semi-finals. * The teams are allocated in the groups according to their league positions after half season. Group A consists of South China (1st), Wofoo Tai Po (4th), Kitchee (5th), Happy Valley (8th) and Workable (10th). Hong Kong League Cup
Hong Kong Football Association League Cup () is an annual football competition contested by clubs in the top-tier Hong Kong domestic football league (currently Hong Kong Premier League). The cup was relaunched for the 2014–15 season after being discontinued in the 2012–13 season. Format *All teams in Hong Kong First Division League (until 2013–2014 season) / Hong Kong Premier League (starting from 2014 to 2015 season) are divided in the 2 groups (Group A & B) in first round stage. Each team plays against all other teams in the group once. The top two teams in each group qualify into the semi-finals. *In the semi-finals, the first team in Group A plays against second team in Group B while the first team in Group B plays against second team in Group A. *The winner of the semi-finals enter the final, which is usually held in Hong Kong Stadium. Ye Jia (, born ), is a former Chinese-born Hong Kong professional footballer. He is an all-rounded player who can play as an attacking midfielder or a striker on the field.
