2003 Norwegian First Division (women)
The 2003 1. divisjon season kicked off on 14 April 2003, and the final round was played on 1 November 2003. Ham-Kam were promoted to the 2004 Tippeligaen as 1. divisjon winners, along with Fredrikstad who finished second. Ham-Kam will be playing in the top division for the first time since 1995, while Fredrikstad returned for the first time since 1975. As in previous seasons, there was a two-legged promotion play-off at the end of the season, between the third-placed team in the 1. divisjon (Sandefjord) and the twelfth-placed team in the Tippeligaen ( Vålerenga). Vålerenga kept their spot in the Tippeligaen, beating Sandefjord 5-3 on aggregate. FK Mandalskameratene
FK Mandalskameratene is a Norwegian football club, from the town of Mandal in Vest-Agder, currently playing in the 3. divisjon. The club was founded on 1 July 1912, under the name of 'Alladin'. In 1918 the club changed its name to 'Mandalskameratene'. History Results have varied over the years. Making it to the 3rd round of the cup in 1964 was until recently the club's greatest achievement. As recently as the late 80s Mandalskameratene played in the 5th level of the Norwegian league system. Then a period of steady advancement started, and in 2000 the team was promoted to the First Division. They have since played several seasons in the First Division, but spent the 2002 and 2006 seasons in the Second Division, and were again relegated in 2007. Geir Televik (born 23 July 1971) is a retired Norwegian football striker. He started his career in Tornado FK. For IL Hødd he participated in their promotion to the highest level after the 1994 season. He scored 13 goals in the 1995 Norwegian Premier League; only five players had more goals. After the 1996 season he was sold to Molde FK for . He spent some time in the early summer of 1998 on loan to Hødd. After the 1998 season Reading F.C. had him on trial, but neither Televik nor Trond Strande was offered a contract. Televik was released from Molde in December. He rejoined Hødd. Benjamin "Ben" Wright (born 1 July 1980) is an English footballer who is a player and co-coach of Nelson Suburbs. Club career Wright spent the first 13 years of his life in Münster, Germany, where his father had a teaching job within the British Army before the family returned to the United Kingdom, settling in Lincolnshire. He began his career in the youth system at Deeping Rangers and was also part of the Deepings School team which won the Lincolnshire Schools County Cup in 1999. He was soon snapped up by local Football Conference side Kettering Town and began to attract scouts from the Football League, appearing twice for Leeds United in the FA Premier Academy Under-19 League before joining Bristol City for £30,000 in March 1999. Christian Johnsen (born 10 June 1977) is a retired Norwegian football striker and current manager. Joining Moss FK from Faaberg IL ahead of the 1998 season, he played two and a half seasons for them in Eliteserien and then three and a half seasons in Raufoss IL. After finishing second top goalscorer in the 2003 1. divisjon with 17 goals, he transferred to Örebro SK of Allsvenskan. After one season he had to retire following career-ruining injuries, and blamed ÖSK's artificial turf. Johnsen enrolled at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences. He also started a career in coaching, first for a Stabæk boys' team, later as player developer and assistant in Fram. Manglerud Star Fotball is an association football club based in Oslo, Norway. It is part of the multi-sport club Manglerud Star. The club was established in its current form on December 14, 2005 after a merger between Manglerud Star Fotball and Fotballklubben Oslo Øst, the latter of which originally formed in 2000. Manglerud Star Fotball went bankrupt on April 4, 2011, and withdrew all their teams from competition; the club was refounded in 2013. History FK Oslo Øst (Oslo East) were founded on January 1, 2000. Moss Fotballklubb is a Norwegian football club, founded on 28 August 1906. They play in the 2. divisjon, the third highest division in the Norwegian football league system. They played in the Norwegian top flight between 1937-1939, 1953-1954, 1977-1985 (9 seasons), 1987-1990 (4 seasons), 1996 and 1998-2002. The club came close to earning promotion to the top flight in 2005, but lost the play-off against Molde. Stadium Moss play their home games at Melløs stadion, which has a capacity of around 10,000. IL Hødd
Idrottslaget Hødd is a multi-sports club from Ulsteinvik in Møre og Romsdal, Norway. Founded in 1919, it has sections for team handball, gymnastics and football. It is best known for their men's football team, which since 2015 plays at Høddvoll, whose stated capacity is 4,081.
