21st Forqué Awards
The 21st ceremony of the Forqué Awards was held on 11 January 2016 at the Palacio Municipal de Congresos in Madrid. The gala, aired on La 1, was hosted by Macarena Gómez and José Corbacho. History The nominations were disclosed in December 2015. '' Truman'' and '' The Clan'' (running both in the Best Film and the Best Latin-American film categories) gathered the most nominations. Organised by , the award ceremony was held at the Palacio Municipal de Congresos in Madrid on 11 January 2016. The gala got off to a late start because the regional president Cristina Cifuentes did not arrive in time. It featured musical performances by Antonio Orozco, Edurne, Manuel Carrasco, Pablo López and Soraya. and Tricicle provided comic relief. It was hosted by José Corbacho and Macarena Gómez. The IFEMA Palacio Municipal, formerly known as Palacio Municipal de Congresos, is a convention centre in Madrid, Spain. It is located near the IFEMA's main fairground complex in the Campo de las Naciones area. It is operated by IFEMA since 2019. Tricicle
Tricicle () is a physical-comedy group composed of three actors: Joan Gràcia, Francesc (Paco) Mir, and Carles Sans. They founded the company in 1979 to perform brief sketches in streets and alternative venues. At that time, the three members of Tricicle were students at Barcelona's Institut del Teatre, specializing in pantomime and dramatic arts. In 1982, after several seasons of performances in alternative settings, they made their professional circuit debut at the Sala Villarroel in Barcelona. ''Ciutat Morta'' (, "Dead City") is a 2013 Catalan documentary about the 4F case, directed by Xavier Artigas and Xapo Ortega. The film covers the repercussions of the events of February 4, 2006, when a Guàrdia Urbana officer in Barcelona was grievously injured and several people were arrested. This resulted in a long court-case and ultimately four people were convicted and imprisoned, one of whom committed suicide.
