2025–26 QMJHL Season
The 2025–26 QMJHL season will be the 57th season of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League. The league will play a 64-game regular season beginning on September 18, 2025, and ending on March 21, 2026. This will be the first season of play for the Newfoundland Regiment. Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League
The Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL; , LHJMQ), formerly the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League is one of the three major junior ice hockey leagues that constitute the Canadian Hockey League (CHL). The league includes teams in Quebec, Newfoundland and Labrador, and the The Maritimes, Maritime provinces of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island, and previously had teams in Maine and New York (state), New York in the United States. The Gilles-Courteau Trophy is the championship trophy of the league. The QMJHL champion then goes on to compete in the Memorial Cup against the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) and Western Hockey League (WHL) champions, and the CHL host team. The QMJHL had traditionally adopted a rapid and offensive style of hockey. Eastlink TV
Eastlink Community TV is the brand for Eastlink (company), Eastlink's Community channel (Canada), community channels that serve Northern Ontario, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. TVA Sports
TVA Sports is a Canadian French-language sports specialty channel owned by the Groupe TVA, a publicly traded subsidiary of Quebecor Media. MAtv (formerly Vox) is a Canadian community channels operated by the cable provider Vidéotron within the province of Quebec. History In the 1970s, the first community radio stations started to appear in Quebec. These were non-commercial radio stations operated by social groups, in which the population can participate and whose operation is based on a cooperative basis. 2024–25 QMJHL Season
The 2024–25 QMJHL season was the 56th season of the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League. The league played a 64-game regular season reduced from 68 games which began on September 20, 2024, and ended on March 22, 2025. This was the final season of play for the Acadie–Bathurst Titan, as the franchise was sold to a group that moved them to St. John's, Newfoundland for the 2025–26 season, where they will play as the Newfoundland Regiment. Canadian Hockey League
The Canadian Hockey League (CHL; , LCH) is an umbrella organization that represents the three Canada-based major junior ice hockey leagues. The CHL was founded in 1975 as the Canadian Major Junior Hockey League, and is composed of its three member leagues, the Western Hockey League (WHL), Ontario Hockey League (OHL), and Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). 2025–26 OHL Season
The 2025–26 OHL season will be the 46th season of operation (45th season of play) of the Ontario Hockey League. The league will play a 68-game regular season which will begin on September 18, 2025 and conclude on March 22, 2026. The post-season will begin on March 26, 2026 and conclude in May 2026. The team who wins the championship will win the J. Ross Robertson Cup and will represent the Ontario Hockey League at the 2026 Memorial Cup, which will be hosted by the Kelowna Rockets of the Western Hockey League. The tournament will be held at Prospera Place in Kelowna, British Columbia. 2025–26 WHL Season
The 2025–26 WHL season will be the 60th season of the Western Hockey League (WHL). The regular season will begin on Friday, September 19, 2025. The Penticton Vees will join as the league's newest franchise, its 23rd, and be placed in the B.C. division of the Western Conference. The team who wins the championship will win the Ed Chynoweth Cup and will represent the WHL at the 2026 Memorial Cup, which will be hosted by the Kelowna Rockets of the Western Hockey League. The Sports Network
The Sports Network (TSN) is a Canadian English language discretionary sports specialty channel owned by the Sports Network Inc., a subsidiary of CTV Specialty Television, which is also a joint venture of Bell Media (70%), also owned by BCE Inc. and ESPN Inc.
