2025–26 EuroCup Basketball
The 2025–26 EuroCup Basketball season will be the 24th season of Euroleague Basketball's secondary level professional club basketball tournament. It will be the 18th season since it was renamed from the ULEB Cup to the EuroCup, and the third season under the new title sponsorship name of BKT. The season will begin on 30 September 2025 and will end at the latest on 1 May 2026 with the Finals. Team allocation A total of 20 teams from 13 countries are set to participate in the 2025–26 EuroCup season. On June 19, 2025, Euroleague Basketball confirmed the team list for this season. EuroCup Basketball
EuroCup Basketball, commonly known as the EuroCup and currently called BKT EuroCup for sponsorship reasons, is an annual professional basketball club competition organized by Euroleague Basketball. The league is regarded as Euroleague Basketball's second-tier professional basketball club tournament. Founded as ULEB Cup in 2002, the competition lasted until 2008 when a new competition was introduced after an agreement between ULEB and FIBA under the name of ''EuroCup'' for the 2008–09 Eurocup Basketball, 2008–09 season, following a change in format. Given that the FIBA EuroChallenge was known as EuroCup until 2008, a new era of stronger cooperation between ULEB and FIBA Europe was set in 2008. Hamburg Towers, for sponsorship reasons named Veolia Towers Hamburg, is a professional basketball team, based in Hamburg, Germany. After promotion from the ProA in 2019, the Towers are currently playing in the Basketball Bundesliga, the top tier of German basketball. Founded in 2013, the club played in the ProA from the 2014–15 season. In 2019, Hamburg promoted to the BBL for the first time. Since 2014, their home arena is the Inselpark Arena in Wilhelmsburg. 2024–25 ABA League First Division
The 2024–25 AdmiralBet ABA League is the 24th season of the ABA League and the first season after the expansion to 16 teams. Apart from teams from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Slovenia, a new team, Dubai Basketball, from the United Arab Emirates played in the competition as well. The 2024–25 Israeli Basketball Premier League, for sponsorship reasons Ligat Winner, was the 71st season of the Israeli Basketball Premier League. The season started in October 2024. The season was cancelled before the last championship game of the Finals due to a war with Iran. Format The regular season played in a 26-round (13 round-robin format). 2024–25 LNB Élite Season
The 2024–25 LNB Élite season, also known as Betclic Élite for sponsorship reasons, is the 103rd season of the LNB Élite, France's top basketball league. It began on 20 September 2024 with the regular season and will conclude at the latest on 24 June 2025 with the playoffs. AS Monaco is the back-to-back defending champion. Format changes For this season, the league was reduced from 18 to 16 teams. After the regular season, the play-in will be introduced in which the teams that finish between 7th and 10th will play for the last two playoffs spots like other European leagues. Jeunesse Laïque de Bourg-en-Bresse, commonly known as JL Bourg or simply Bourg, is a basketball club based in Bourg-en-Bresse, France that plays in the LNB Élite, the national top division.
