2025–26 CAF Confederation Cup
The CAF Confederation Cup, known as the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup for sponsorship purposes, is an annual association football club competition established in 2004 and organized by CAF. Clubs qualify for the competition based on their performance in their national leagues and cup competitions. It is the second-tier competition of African club football, ranking below the CAF Champions League. The winner of the tournament faces the winner of the aforementioned competition in the following season's CAF Super Cup. Moroccan clubs have the highest number of victories (eight titles), followed by Tunisia with five. Morocco has the largest number of winning teams, with five clubs having won the title. The competition has been won by 14 clubs, six of which have won it more than once. The 2024–25 CAF Confederation Cup, officially the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup for sponsorship reasons, was the 22nd edition of the CAF Confederation Cup and 50th overall season of Africa's secondary club football tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). The winners, RS Berkane, earned the right to play against the winners of the 2024–25 CAF Champions League in the 2025 CAF Super Cup. Association team allocation All 54 CAF member associations may enter the CAF Confederation Cup, with the 12 highest ranked associations according to the CAF 5-year ranking eligible to enter two teams in the competition.
