The 2025–26 AFC Challenge League will be the 12th edition of the Asia's third-tier continental club football competition, organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), and the second under the AFC Challenge League title. Arkadag are the reigning champions, but will not be able to defend their title as the winner of the Challenge League automatically qualifies for the Champions League Two Group stage The winner will be given a direct slot for the 2026–27 AFC Champions League Two group stage, if they haven't already qualified through their domestic performance. 2024–25 AFC Challenge League
The 2024–25 AFC Challenge League was the eleventh edition of the Asia's third-tier continental club association football, football competition, organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), and the first season since it was rebranded from the AFC President's Cup to the AFC Challenge League. It was the first edition since 2014 AFC President's Cup, 2014, when the tournament was re-introduced in 2024 with a revamped format. The final was played on 10 May 2025 at the Morodok Techo National Stadium in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, with Turkmenistan club FK Arkadag, Arkadag defeating Cambodian club Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng FC, Svay Rieng 2–1 to win their first Asian title. Arkadag became the third Turkmenistan club to win the competition.
