2025 FA Community Shield
The 2025 FA Community Shield is scheduled to be the 103rd FA Community Shield, an annual association football match contested by the winners of the previous season's Premier League and FA Cup competitions. It will be played at Wembley Stadium in London on 10 August 2025, and will feature the 2024–25 Premier League winners Liverpool and the 2024–25 FA Cup winners Crystal Palace. Background Liverpool and Crystal Palace qualified for the 2025 FA Community Shield as the winners of the 2024–25 Premier League and the 2024–25 FA Cup, respectively. It will be the 67th meeting between the two sides, and the first appearance for Crystal Palace in a Community Shield match, after they earned their first ever major trophy in winning the FA Cup. 2024–25 FA Cup
The 2024–25 FA Cup was the 144th season of the Football Association Challenge Cup, the oldest football tournament in the world. It was sponsored by Emirates and known as the Emirates FA Cup for sponsorship reasons. The FA Cup is the main domestic cup competition for men's football teams in England. The qualifying competition began on 3 August 2024, with the tournament proper starting on 2 November 2024. The final was played at Wembley Stadium, London, on 17 May 2025. King Power Stadium
King Power Stadium is a football stadium in the city of Leicester, East Midlands, England, and the home of Leicester City. 2022 FA Community Shield
The 2022 FA Community Shield was the 100th FA Community Shield, an annual football match played between the winners of the previous season's Premier League and the winners of the previous season's FA Cup. It was played on 30 July 2022, with Liverpool defeating Manchester City 3–1 for their 16th FA Community Shield title and the club's first in 16 years. Due to the hosting of the UEFA Women's Euro 2022 final, the match took place away from the usual Wembley Stadium for the first time in 10 years, and was instead played at Leicester City's King Power Stadium.
