2025 All-Ireland Under-20 Hurling Championship
The 2025 All-Ireland Under-20 Hurling Championship was the seventh staging of the All-Ireland Under-20 Hurling Championship, All-Ireland Under-20 Championship and the 62nd staging overall of a hurling championship for players between the All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship, minor and All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, senior grades. The provincial group stage placings were confirmed in November and December 2024. The championship ran from 25 March to 31 May 2025. Offaly GAA, Offaly entered the championship as the 2024 All-Ireland Under-20 Hurling Championship, defending champions, however, they were beaten by Dublin GAA, Dublin in the #Leinster quarter-finals, Leinster quarter-finals. Sam O'Farrell
Sam O'Farrell (born 2005) is an Irish hurler. At club level he plays with Nenagh Éire Óg and at inter-county level was included in the training panel of the Tipperary senior hurling team. Career At club level, O'Farrell first played for Nenagh Éire Óg at juvenile and underage levels before eventually joining the club's senior team. He had his first success in 2023 when he claimed a North Tipperary SHC title after a 0–21 to 0–17 defeat of Kiladangan in the final. O'Farrell first appeared on the inter-county scene for Tipperary at the age of 17 when he captained the minor team that won the All-Ireland MHC title after a defeat of Offaly in 2022. He ended the season by being named on the Team of the Year. O'Farrell progressed to the under-20 team and was an All-Ireland U20HC runner-up as vice-captain of the team in 2024. The 2008 All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling Championship final was a hurling match that was played at Croke Park, Dublin on 14 September 2008 to determine the winners of the 2008 All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling Championship, the 45th season of the All-Ireland Under-21 Hurling Championship, a tournament organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association for the champion teams of the four provinces of Ireland. The Galway county hurling team ( ) represents County Galway, Galway in hurling and is governed by Galway GAA, the County board (Gaelic games), county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association. The Laois county hurling team represents Laois in hurling and is governed by Laois GAA, the county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association. Leinster Under-20 Hurling Championship
The Leinster GAA Under-20 Hurling Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the oneills.com Leinster GAA Under-20 Hurling Championship), is an annual inter-county hurling competition organised by the Leinster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county hurling competition for male players between the ages of 17 and 20 in the province of Leinster. The championship was contested as the Leinster Under-21 Championship between 1964 and 2018 before changing to an under-20 age category from 2019. It is sponsored by oneills.com. The series of games are played during the summer months with the Leinster final currently being played in July. The prize for the winning team is the Seán Robbins Cup.
