2024–25 Figure Skating Season
The 2024–25 figure skating season began on July 1, 2024, and will end on June 30, 2025. During this season, elite skaters will compete at the ISU Championship level at the 2025 European Championships, Four Continents Championships, World Junior Championships, and the World Championships. They also competed at elite events such as the ISU Challenger Series, the Grand Prix and Junior Grand Prix series, culminating at the Grand Prix Final. On June 15, 2023, the International Skating Union announced that all figure skaters and officials from Russia and Belarus would remain banned from attending any international competitions. Season notes Age eligibility Skaters are eligible to compete in ISU events at the junior or senior levels according to their age. These rules may not apply to non-ISU events such as national championships. Agnes Elizabeth Zawadzki (born July 31, 1994) is an American former competitive figure skater. She is the 2012 Cup of Russia, Rostelecom Cup bronze medalist and a two-time U.S. Figure Skating Championships, U.S. national bronze medalist (2012 U.S. Figure Skating Championships, 2012, 2013 U.S. Figure Skating Championships, 2013). Evgeni Viktorovich Plushenko (, born 3 November 1982) is a Russian former figure skater. Chafik Besseghier
Chafik Besseghier (born 11 October 1989) is a French figure skater. He is a two-time International Cup of Nice champion and the 2016 and 2018 French national champion. He has won a total of fourteen senior international medals and finished in the top ten at three ISU Championships ( 2014 Worlds, 2013 Europeans, 2017 Europeans). Uwe Kagelmann
Uwe Kagelmann (born 6 September 1950 in Dresden, Saxony, East Germany/GDR) is a German former competitive pair skater. Competing with Manuela Groß, he was a two-time bronze medalist at the Olympics. He later became a figure skating coach. The pair skated for the SV Dynamo club and represented East Germany. Their coach was Heinz-Friedrich Lindner. Martin Skotnický (born 24 August 1947) is a Slovak ice dancing coach and former competitor for Czechoslovakia. With his sister, Diana Skotnická, he is the 1970 Winter Universiade champion and a five-time Czechoslovak national champion (1970–74). They placed sixth at the 1973 European Championships. Tracy Wilson, (born September 25, 1961) is a Canadian former competitive ice dancer. With partner Rob McCall, she won the Canadian national championship seven times (1982–1988), is a three-time World bronze medallist, and the 1988 Olympic bronze medallist.
