2024–25 Thai League 3 Northern Region
The 2024–25 Thai League 3 Northern Region is part of the 2024–25 Thai League 3 Regional Stage, consisting of 11 clubs located across the northern region of Thailand, including some areas in the upper parts of the central and western regions. The season will commence on 14 September 2024, with clubs competing in a round-robin format featuring home-and-away matches. The Regional Stage will conclude on 30 March 2025, at which point the top two clubs will advance to the National Championship Stage, while the bottom-placed club will face relegation to the Thailand Semi-pro League for the following season. Thai League 3 or Thailand Regional Championship, commonly known as the T3, is the third level of Thai football. It was started in 2017 First season. In 2017, the League is divided in 2 regions and participated by 32 clubs 1st-4th clubs from 8 regions which are former members Regional League Division 2 and debutants in the season. Northern Thailand
Northern Thailand, or more specifically Lanna, is a region of Thailand. It is geographically characterized by several mountain ranges, which continue from the Shan Hills in bordering Myanmar to Laos, and the river valleys that cut through them. Like most of Thailand, it has a tropical savanna climate, but its relatively high elevation and latitude contribute to more pronounced seasonal temperature variation, with cooler winters than the other regions. Doi Saket District
Doi Saket (, ; ดอยสะเก๋ด, ) is a district (''amphoe'') in the eastern part of Chiang Mai province in northern Thailand. The district is predominantly a rural farming area, containing a mixture of rice fields on the valley floor to orchard and other farming on the hillsides. Phraya Phichai
Phraya Phichai (), or popularly known as Phraya Phichai Dap Hak ( th: พระยาพิชัยดาบหัก; lit: Phraya Phichai of the broken sword) (1741–1782) was a historic Siamese nobleman of Mon descent who served as a military leader under King Taksin of Thonburi. He legendarily became known for fighting with a sword in each hand until one was broken. Background Phraya Phichai was a Siamese general serving under King Taksin. After the fall of Ayutthaya in 1767, Phraya Phichai and Chao Phraya Chakri (who later become the first King of Chakri dynasty) followed Phraya Taksin in repelling the Burmese and reuniting Siam. Naresuan
Naresuan (1555/1556 – 25 April 1605), commonly known as Naresuan the Great, or Sanphet II was the 18th Monarchy of Thailand, king of the Ayutthaya Kingdom and 2nd monarch of the List of monarchs of Thailand#Sukhothai dynasty (1569–1629), Sukhothai dynasty. He was the king of the Ayutthaya Kingdom from 1590 and overlord of Lan Na from 1602 until his death in 1605. Thailand Semi-pro League
Thailand Semi-pro League (), commonly known as the TS, is the fourth level of Thai football organized by Thai League Co. Ltd. It was started in 2023 by Football Association of Thailand for improving all Thai Amateur clubs to be better and preparing the amateur clubs ready to play in Football League in each region. This competition is organized to find clubs that will be promoted to Thai League 3 but will not be relegated. Clubs that participate in the competition are recruited through applications each year. Therefore, the number of clubs competing each year is not the same, depending on how many clubs will apply each year.
