The 2024–25 season is the 157th season in the existence of Sheffield Wednesday F.C., Sheffield Wednesday and the club's second season back in the EFL Championship, Championship. The Northern Ireland national under-21 football team also known as the Northern Ireland under-21s or Northern Ireland U21s, is the national under-21 football team of Northern Ireland and is controlled by the Irish Football Association. 2024 UEFA European Under-19 Championship
The 2024 UEFA European Under-19 Championship (also known as UEFA Under-19 Euro 2024) was the 21st edition of the UEFA European Under-19 Championship (71st edition if the Under-18 and Junior eras are included), the annual international youth association football, football championship organised by UEFA for the men's under-19 national teams of Europe. Northern Ireland National Under-19 Football Team
The Northern Ireland national under-19 football team also known as Northern Ireland under-19s or Northern Ireland U19s represents Northern Ireland in association football at under-19 level. It is controlled by the Irish Football Association and began under the name of Ireland Youth when the Home Nations first held a round robin of friendly matches in 1948. The same year they entered the first International Youth Tournament, now the UEFA European Under-19 Football Championship. Their best performance was in 1963 when they finished as runner-up. The team evolved into the Northern Ireland under-18 team then the current under-19 team. Pierce Joseph Charles (born 21 July 2005) is a professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for club Sheffield Wednesday. Born in England, he represents the Northern Ireland national team. Career Charles was in the youth set-up at Manchester City prior to joining up with Sheffield Wednesday in 2021. Chris Powell
Christopher George Robin Powell (born 8 September 1969) is an English football coach and former player, who is currently the assistant coach at Sheffield Wednesday. As a left back, Powell played for Southend United, Derby County, Charlton Athletic, West Ham United, Watford and Leicester City. He also made five appearances for the England national team. With Charlton he had three spells as a player over eight seasons and in the 1999–2000 season was part of the squad that won the First Division to be promoted to the Premier League.
