2024–25 Seconde Ligue
The 2024–25 Seconde Ligue season, was the 37th season of the second tier of national women's association football, women's football league in France and the first season since its rebranding as Seconde Ligue. The season began on 15 September 2024 and ended on 18 May 2025. Olympique de Marseille (women), Marseille claimed their second title after finishing first in the standings, edging out Main competitors RC Lens Féminin, RC Lens on head-to-head points. Teams Twelve teams were set to take part in this season, including eight teams retained from last season's lineup. They were joined by US Saint-Malo and Toulouse FC (women), Toulouse, promoted from Division 3 Féminine to replace relegated sides ASPTT Albi, Albi Marssac and Montauban FCTG, Montauban. Additionally, Lille OSC (women), Lille and FC Girondins de Bordeaux (women), Bordeaux entered the league following their relegation from 2023–24 Division 1 Féminine, Division 1. Seconde Ligue
The Seconde Ligue ( ) is a professional sports, professional women's association football league at the second level of the French football league system, and is run by the ''Ligue féminine de football professionnel'' (LFFP). Its annual competition features twelve teams playing two series of Round-robin tournament, round-robin matches from September to June. At the end of each season, the top two teams are promotion and relegation, promoted to the top-level Première Ligue, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the third-tier, Semi-professional sports, semi-professional Division 3 Féminine.
