2024–25 SVNS
The 2024–25 SVNS is the 26th annual series of rugby sevens tournaments for national sevens teams, known as the SVNS. It will take place between November 2024 and June 2025. The SVNS has been run by World Rugby since 1999. Teams and format There are three changes from the 2023–24 season, Kenya and Uruguay men won promotion at the 2024 Spain Sevens, 2024 Grand Finals in Madrid, which also saw China women promoted. Canada and Samoa men as well as South Africa women were relegated. The tournament takes place over seven months and consists of seven events, with the final event holding the top eight-placed teams in a Grand final, Grand Final event. The teams placed between nine–twelve will compete in a promotion/relegation-style event with other teams to decide which stay as core teams. Joji Nasova (born 9 June 2000) is a Fijian rugby sevens player. He was selected for the 2024 Summer Olympics. He was part of the Fijian team which reached the finals of the men's rugby sevens tournament. References

Dignity Health Sports Park
Dignity Health Sports Park is a multi-use sports complex located on the campus of California State University, Dominguez Hills, in Carson, California. The complex consists of the 27,000-seat Dignity Health Sports Park soccer stadium, the Dignity Health Sports Park tennis stadium, a track-and-field facility, and the VELO Sports Center velodrome. 2025 USA Sevens
The 2024 USA Sevens or SVNS LAX is a rugby sevens tournament played at Dignity Health Sports Park in Los Angeles. Sixteen men's and women's teams participated, of which eight teams participated in the SVNS World Championship and the other teams participated in the SVNS Playoff for core team status and to participate on the 2026 HSBC SVNS. Teams The top eight-placed teams from the first seven previous events in the 2024–25 SVNS series played in a Grand Final event. The teams placed between nine–twelve competed in a promotion/relegation-style event with the top four teams from the men's and women's Challenger Series to decide which teams stay as core teams. The 2024 Singapore Sevens or SVNS SGP was a rugby sevens tournament played at Singapore National Stadium. Twelve men's and women's teams participated. The format of the tournament differs to the other tournaments on the series, with four groups of three teams and no quarter-finals matches. This is because the men's and women's tournaments are held over two days at a single venue. Kai Tak Sports Park is a multi-purpose sports venue at the site of the former Kai Tak Airport in Kowloon, Hong Kong, as part of the Kai Tak Development. The sports park is located on the north-western part of the old Kai Tak Airport, where some of the parking stands used to be.
