2024–25 National League 2 East
The 2024–25 National League 2 East was the third season of the fourth-tier (east) of the English domestic rugby union competitions; one of three at this level. The others are National League 2 North and National League 2 West. Tonbridge Juddians finished as league champions on 12 April with one game still to play following a dominant victory at home against Oxford Harlequins. The title battle had been a three way battle for most of the season, but in the end Juddians were fairly comfortable, finishing 6 points clear of runners up Dorking and 9 points clear of 3rd placed Barnes, to earn promotion to the 2025–26 National League 1 after an absence of three seasons. The reformation of the RFU Championship from 12 to 14 teams meant that one team per level would be safe from relegation. National League 1
National One, up until 2023 known as National League 1 and previously known before September 2009 as National Division Two), is the third of three national leagues in the domestic rugby union competition of England. It was known as Courage League National Division Three when founded in 1987. Richmond R.F.C., Richmond are the current champions. The Rugby Football Union (RFU) approved a new structure for the National Leagues from the 2022–23 season. This division was reduced to fourteen teams, playing each other on a home and away basis to make a total of 26 matches each. The champions are promoted to the RFU Championship and the bottom three teams are relegated to either National League 2 East, National Two East, National League 2 North, National Two North or National League 2 West, National Two West depending on the geographical location of the team. Westcombe Park RFC is a rugby football club based in Orpington in south-east London. The name of the club comes from the Westcombe Park area of what is today part of the Royal Borough of Greenwich, where the club was founded. Old Albanian Rugby Football Club (OAs) is a rugby union club based in St Albans, Hertfordshire, England. The club currently play in National League 2 East. Henley Hawks is a rugby union club based in Henley-on-Thames and is one of the leading rugby clubs in the Thames Valley. Havant RFC
Havant RFC is an English rugby union club and is a member of the Hampshire RFU. The men's 1st XV currently play in the RFU's National League 2 East, a tier 4 league, following their promotion from Regional 1 South Central at the end of the 2023–24 season. Bury St Edmunds RUFC is a rugby union club based in Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk. Founded in 1925 as Bury and West Suffolk Rugby Football Club, the men's 1st XV currently play in the fourth tier of the English league system, National League 2 East.
