2024–25 Minnesota Frost Season
The 2024–25 Minnesota Frost season was the team's second season as a member of the Professional Women's Hockey League. They played their home games at the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The Frost defeated the Toronto Sceptres in the semifinals of the 2025 PWHL playoffs to advance to the 2025 PWHL Finals. During the Finals they defeated the Ottawa Charge to win their second consecutive Walter Cup. Offseason * On June 7, 2024, one week after winning the league's inaugural championship and with only days before the draft, it was reported the general manager Natalie Darwitz would not return for the 2024–25 season. Melissa Caruso
Melissa Caruso is the general manager of the Minnesota Frost, a member of the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). Caruso was named to this position in September 2024, a few months after the team won the inaugural Walter Cup championship. Career Caruso previously worked at the American Hockey League (AHL) for 15 years, most recently as the Vice President of Hockey Operations and Governance. In that role, Caruso was responsible for scheduling games for the 31 teams in the league, among other responsibilities. Education Caruso holds a degree in Sports Management from Springfield College in Massachusetts. She is a Massachusetts native and now lives in Saint Paul, Minnesota, St. Paul, Minnesota. References

The Toronto Sceptres are a professional ice hockey team based in Toronto that competes in the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). They are one of the six charter franchises of the league. The team plays its home games at Coca-Cola Coliseum. Toronto topped the standings in the league's inaugural regular season. Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell (formerly Tsongas Arena) is a multi-purpose facility owned by the University of Massachusetts Lowell and located in Lowell, Massachusetts. Nicole Hensley
Nicole Hensley (born June 23, 1994) is an American professional ice hockey goaltender currently playing for the Minnesota Frost of the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) and a member of the United States women's national ice hockey team. Playing career Lindenwood University Hensley debuted with the Lindenwood Lady Lions ice hockey team during the 2012-13 Lindenwood Lady Lions ice hockey season. Hensley won four consecutive CHA Student-Athlete of the Year awards, and landed on the CHA all-Academic team each year. NWHL On June 12, 2018, Hensley signed a contract with the Buffalo Beauts of the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL). Ford Performance Centre
The Ford Performance Centre, formerly Mastercard Centre For Hockey Excellence, is a hockey facility located in the Etobicoke district of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It has four ice pads and is the official practice facility of the Toronto Maple Leafs NHL hockey team, and their AHL affiliate the Toronto Marlies. The building also houses offices for Hockey Canada and the Hockey Hall of Fame and was home to the Toronto Furies of the Canadian Women's Hockey League. The land is owned by the Toronto District School Board as 400 Kipling Avenue. Natalie Darwitz
Natalie Rose Darwitz (born October 13, 1983) is an American ice hockey executive, coach, and retired player, most recently serving as general manager of PWHL Minnesota in the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). Darwitz was a member of the US national ice hockey team for more than a decade and served as team captain for several seasons, beginning with the 2007–08 season. Her decorated playing career was highlighted by three world championship gold medals, two Olympic silver medals, and an Olympic bronze medal. Darwitz was inducted into both the Hockey Hall of Fame and IIHF Hall of Fame in 2024. Career biography Darwitz began skating at the age of five, and attended Eagan High School.
