2024–25 KNVB Cup
The 2024–25 KNVB Cup, for sponsoring reasons officially called the TOTO KNVB Beker, was the 107th edition of the Netherlands, Dutch national Association football, football annual knockout tournament for the KNVB Cup. A total of 110 teams contested the trophy, beginning in September with the first of two preliminary rounds, and ending in April 2024 with the final played at De Kuip in Rotterdam. The winners qualified for the 2025–26 UEFA Europa League#League stage, 2025–26 UEFA Europa League league stage and the 2025 Johan Cruyff Shield. Feyenoord were the defending champions, but were eliminated by PSV Eindhoven, PSV in the quarter-finals. Veenendaal () is a Municipalities of the Netherlands, municipality and a town in central Netherlands, located in the province of Utrecht (province), Utrecht. Sportvereniging Tielse Eendracht Combinatie, more commonly known as SV TEC or simply TEC (), is a football club based in Tiel, Gelderland. Formed on 1 June 1924, it plays in the Derde Divisie, the fourth tier of the Dutch football league system, and has spent most of its history in the lower amateur tiers. Kozakken Boys () is a Dutch football club based in Werkendam. It competes in the , the fourth tier, and second highest amateur league of Dutch football. Formed as Steeds Voorwaarts Werkendam (SVW) in 1932, it adopted its current name in 1935. Kozakken Boys was named after the Don Cossack troops, who liberated Werkendam from French occupation in 1813. Veen is a village in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of Altena, about 20 km northwest of 's-Hertogenbosch. It is infamous for its New Year's Eve tradition during which scrap cars are burnt, and in 2020 even firemen were attacked with fireworks. History It was first mentioned between 1108 and 1121 as de Ueno and means raised bog. Veen is a river bank settlement along the Afgedamde Maas which developed in the Middle Ages.
