2024–25 Indian Super League
The 2024–25 Indian Super League was the 11th season of the Indian Super League (ISL) and the 29th season of top-tier Indian football. Mohun Bagan were the defending champions who won the shield last season. This season Mohun Bagan became the first team to successfully defend the title by winning their second ISL title and seventh Indian title overall by topping the regular season table with a record 56 points. Mumbai City were the defending cup winners who won the ISL cup last season . Mohun Bagan also won their second ISL Cup, defeating Bengaluru 2–1 in the final. 2024 Intercontinental Cup (India)
The 2024 Intercontinental Cup was the fourth edition of the Intercontinental Cup, a three-nation football tournament, typically a four-nation tournament, held at the G. M. C. Balayogi Athletic Stadium, in the Indian city of Hyderabad in September 2024. The tournament was organized by the All India Football Federation (AIFF). India won the previous edition by a 2–0 victory over Lebanon in the final in June of 2023. Syria won this edition by finishing in first place of the round-robin standings after defeating Mauritius 2–0 and India 3–0. Al Rayyan (; also spelled ''Ar Rayyan'') is the third-largest municipalities of Qatar, municipality in Qatar. Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium
The new Ahmad bin Ali Stadium (), popularly known as Al-Rayyan Stadium, is an association football stadium located in the district of Rawdat Al Jahhaniya, Qatar, around northwest from the centre of Al Rayyan. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is home to Al-Rayyan Sports Club. The stadium is named after Ahmad bin Ali Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar from 1960 to 1972. The former stadium, built in 2003, had a seating capacity of 21,282 and was demolished in 2015. The new Al Rayyan Stadium has a seating capacity of 45,032. Lallianzuala Chhangte
Lallianzuala Chhangte (born 8 June 1997) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a winger for the Indian Super League club Mumbai City, which he captains, and the India national team. Chhangte began his professional senior career with DSK Shivajians. In 2016, he was loaned out to NorthEast United. In 2017, he joined Delhi Dynamos, where he rose to prominence. He signed for Chennaiyin in 2019. He joined Mumbai City on loan in January 2022 and later signed a permanent contract in June. Ahmed Hisham Ali Musa Al-Rawi (; born 30 May 2004) is a professional footballer who plays as a striker for Qatari club Al-Rayyan. Born in Iraq, he represents the Qatar national team. Early life Al-Rawi was born in the Iraqi capital Baghdad to an Iraqi family originally from Rawah District, Al Anbar Governorate. His father Hisham Al-Rawi is a former footballer.
