2024–25 II Liga
The 2024–25 II liga (also known as Betclic II liga for sponsorship reasons) was the 77th season of the third tier domestic division in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1948 and the 17th season of the Polish II liga under its current title. The league was operated by the Polish Football Association. The league was contested by 18 teams. The regular season was played in a round-robin tournament. The season started in 19 July 2024 and concluded in 7 June 2025 (regular season). From this season onwards, promotion/relegation play-offs were introduced, with teams placed 13th and 14th facing two second-placed teams from the III liga. II Liga
II liga (Druga liga, ), currently named Betclic II liga due to its sponsorship by Betclic, is a Polish football league that sits at the third tier of the Polish football league system. Until the end of the 2007–08 season, ''II Liga'' referred to a league at the 2nd tier, although this changed with the formation of the Ekstraklasa as the top level league in Poland. Currently, II liga is below I liga and above III liga. Since the 2014–15 season, the league consists of a single division, unlike previous seasons when it was divided into two groups, ''West'' and ''East''. The league consists of 18 teams. The top two finishers are rewarded with automatic promotion to the I liga, while the teams ranked third to sixth face each other in promotion play-offs. Teams who finish 13th and 14th compete in the promotion/relegation play-offs against III liga group winners, and the last four teams are automatically relegated to the fourth division. IV Liga
IV liga (Czwarta liga) is the fifth level of the Polish football league system. The current structure of IV liga was created in the 2000–01 season after introducing the new administrative division of Poland. Groups consist most often of 18 clubs, which each group winner earning promotion to III liga. The bottom clubs are relegated to Liga okręgowa or V liga (depending on the voivodeship). Until the end of the 2007–08 season, IV liga was the fourth tier of league system, but this was changed with the formation of the Ekstraklasa as the highest level of football league in Poland. The league is operated by the Polish Football Association (PZPN). The competition is contested by 72 clubs split geographically across 4 groups of 18 teams, with the winners of each group gaining promotion to the II liga. The season is played in a round-robin tournament. It began in August 2024 and will conclude in June 2025. The teams include semi-professional clubs (although a few are professional) and the reserve teams of professional clubs. From this season onwards, promotion/relegation play-offs will be played, with two second-placed teams facing teams placed 13th and 14th from the II liga. Rekord Bielsko-Biała (football)
BTS Rekord Bielsko-Biała is a Polish football club, based in Bielsko-Biała. As of the 2025–26 season, they compete in the II liga. History The association football section was established in 1999, and started competing in Klasa C from the 1999–2000 season onwards. After spending a few years in lower divisions, Rekord was promoted to the regional league in 2004, and went up to the fifth division four years later. On 30 June 2013, Rekord won the promotion play-off against Górnik Piaski, earning the right to compete in the III liga, where they would spend the following eleven seasons. On 8 June 2024, Rekord sealed their first ever promotion to the third tier, after sealing a group III championship with a 2–1 victory over Górnik Polkowice. TS Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała () is a football club based in Bielsko-Biała, Poland. They currently compete in the II liga, after being relegated from the 2023–24 I liga. History The club was essentially founded on 11 July 1997, although it can trace its roots back to 1907. That year ''Bielitzer Fussball Klub'' (''FK Bielitz'') was established, in the town of Bielitz, Austria-Hungary, then dominated by ethnic Germans and so was the club. In 1911, the club was renamed to ''Bielitz-Bialaer Sport Verein'' (''BBSV''). Since 1920, the town, known henceforth as Bielsko, belonged to Poland, after the country regained independence. In 1936, the club changed its German name to Polish ''Bielsko-Bialskie Towarzystwo Sportowe Bielsko'' (''BBTS Bielsko''). In 1968, it was merged with ''KS Włókniarz'' (founded in 1911). Resovia Rzeszów, commonly referred to as Resovia, is a Polish professional association football club from Rzeszów, Subcarpathian Voivodeship. It is part of the multi-sports club CWKS Resovia, and is one of the oldest football clubs in Poland. As of the 2025–26 season, they compete in the II liga.
