2024–25 FK Željezničar Season
The 2024–25 season was Željezničar's 104th in existence and their 25th season in the Bosnian Premier League. Besides competing in the domestic league, the team also competed in the National Cup. The club finished the season in 4th place, qualifying for the 2025–26 UEFA Conference League first qualifying round. Željezničar got knocked out from the cup in the semi-finals. Fudbalski klub Željezničar Sarajevo ( sh-Cyrl, Фудбалски клуб Жељезничap Сарајево; English language, English: Football Club Željezničar Sarajevo), commonly referred to as Željo, is a professional Association football, football club, based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The name ''Željezničar'' means "railway worker", originating from their establishment by a group of railway workers in 1921. Ivan Đorić ( sr-cyr, Иван Ђорић; born 7 July 1995) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Bosnian Premier League club Igman Konjic. Club career Born in Niš, Đorić passed the Red Star Belgrade youth academy, being also with BSK Borča for a period. Abdulmalik Saleh Al-Jaber (; born 7 January 2004) is a Saudi Arabian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr and the Saudi Arabia U20 national team. Mustafa Šukilović (born 1 January 2003) is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Bosnian Premier League club Željezničar. Club career Šukilović spent his youth years with hometown club Radnik Bijeljina, and also started his senior career there. He then spent three years with Tuzla City.
