2024–25 FC Porto Season
The 2024–25 season was the 132nd season in the history of FC Porto, and the club's 90th consecutive season in the top flight of Portuguese football. In addition to the domestic league, the club participated in the Taça de Portugal, the Taça da Liga, the Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira, the UEFA Europa League, and the newly expanded FIFA Club World Cup. This is Porto's first full season since 2017–18 without veteran defender Pepe, who departed the club after his contract expired. Samu Aghehowa
Samuel Omorodion Aghehowa (born 5 May 2004) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a forward for Primeira Liga club Porto and the Spain national team. After coming through Granada's youth academy, Aghehowa began playing for the club's reserve team in 2022, being promoted to the first team in 2023. He subsequently signed with Atlético Madrid, being immediately loaned to La Liga club Alavés. In August 2024, Aghehowa joined Porto for a transfer fee of €15 million. William Gomes Carvalho Santos (born 15 March 2006), better known as William Gomes, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder and winger for Primeira Liga club Porto. Stephen Antunes Eustáquio ( ; born 21 December 1996) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for Primeira Liga club Porto and vice-captains the Canada national team. Iván Marcano Sierra (; born 23 June 1987) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for Primeira Liga club Porto as a central defender. 2017–18 FC Porto Season
The 2017–18 FC Porto season was the club's List of FC Porto seasons, 108th competitive season and the Primeira Liga#All-time Primeira Liga table, 84th consecutive season in the Primeira Liga, top flight of Football in Portugal, Portuguese football. The season began on 9 August 2017 and concluded on 12 May 2018. Porto won the 2017–18 Primeira Liga title in the penultimate matchday following a draw between direct rivals S.L.
