The 2024–25 season was the 79th season in the history of FC Akhmat Grozny, and the club's 13th consecutive season in the Russian Premier League. In addition to the domestic league, the team is participated in the Russian Cup. Season events On 20 June, Arsen Adamov joined Akhmat on a season-long loan deal from Zenit St.Petersburg. Republican Football Club Akhmat (; ), commonly known as Akhmat Grozny, and formerly as Terek Grozny from 1958 to 2017, is a Russian professional Association football, football club based in Grozny that plays in the Russian Premier League. History The club was founded in 1946, as ''Dynamo''; it changed its name in 1948 to ''Neftyanik'' and in 1958 to ''Terek''. On 7 June 2017, the team was renamed ''Akhmat'', after Akhmad Kadyrov, former Head of the Chechen Republic, President of the Chechen Republic. FC Kolkheti 1913, commonly referred to as Kolkheti Poti, is a Georgia (country), Georgian association football, football club based in Poti. The team competes in the Erovnuli Liga, the top division of Football in Georgia (country), Georgian football. Being registered in 1913, Kolkheti is considered one of the oldest clubs in the South Caucasus. They are the two-time winners of the Soviet republican championship.
